COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A golden Tripel-style ale. A little lighter in alcohol, but not in flavor, than Westmalle, and more drinkable. It matches the best of Belgium.

Bottle in Amsterdam. Hazy orange with a small beige head. Aroma heavy malty (caramel, coriander, cinnamon, orange and cloves). Flavor moderate to heavy sweet and bitter, some warmth from the alcohol. Almost full body. Another fine beer from ’t IJ.

Gold pour with a bit of sediment floating in it and a short lived fizzy white head. Sweet and dry aroma with a subtle hint of fresh fruit and slight funk. Very delicate, dry and sweet flavor with some lemon, grass and green apple. There’s just a faint hint of barnyard and little bit of pepperiness. Medium thin body with tingly carbonation. A very delicate an drinkable version of a triple.

33 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy orange with a huge white head. Yeasty and light caramelish aroma. Brett-ish sweet towards woody dry aroma. Light citric flavour with a nice malt sweetness and caramel flavour. Dry brett-ish finish with a light wood note.

Pours a pale, muddy orange-yellow with a small creamy off white head. Lots of particles and bubbles. Aroma has lots of fruityness from the yeast, some oranges and a little honey. A little spritzy mouthfeel. More powerful taste than you’d expect - not as light and fresh as the aroma. Lots of oranges in the flavour as well and generally sweet.

Cloudy golden with large white head. Slightly sour aroma with notes of wood, barnyard and grapefruit. Sweet flavor with sour notes, wood, yeast and a dry finish. Reminds me of a mild geuze strangely enough…
