COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A golden Tripel-style ale. A little lighter in alcohol, but not in flavor, than Westmalle, and more drinkable. It matches the best of Belgium.

One of the best non-Belgian Belgian ales I’ve come across. Not my favourite style but a great beer. Huge flavour.

Big white fiamhead at the beginning, but it disappears within a few moments afterwhich a nice lacing stays behind. The flavor contains hops, citrus fruits, banana and some caramel. It’s a bit sparkling and refreshing, easy to drink. The aftertaste is a little watery and has some elements of fruit and yeast. Aldus Huubs. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A clear golden colored beer, with a thick foamy white head. The aroma of hop bitter, flowery and malts. The taste of sweet malts, fruits with notes of hop . The aftertaste is some sweet with bitter.

Belongs to one of the best dutch beers and it is perhaps even the pride of Amsterdam beer brewery. A wonderfull Abbey Tripel with a nice soft taste to it, even reminds a bit of German Hefeweizen with the eye on it’s texture and the slight flavor of banana. Nice and soft and a real treat!

On tap @ the Brewery. Hazy orange colour white head. Aroma of yeast, acid, raisins and nuts. A really balanced tripel, sweet malty flavour with a nice thick and full mouthfeel to it. Good beer, really enjoyed it.

The best from A’dam’s best microbrewery. A trippel in the same league as many of the top tier in Belgium. Yeasty, floral aroma. Medium body. Sweet and caramelly taste with fruit finish. (7/10/2010)

Hazy orange with creamy white head. Lactose, mandarin, sweet bread dough and cloves. Tasty, moderately sweet body with a sour hint. Smooth, rich truly makes this beer. Nice lacing in the glass; everything set up for an enjoyable tasting experience. (33cl bottle)

Aroma: Strong smell of yeast. Not much special in the aroma, yeast a lot, a fairly watery finish for a Tripel, Not very hoppy nor malty, best described as ’yeast’. Appearance: golden, hazy color, it’s a Belgian style so there’s still yeast in the bottle, which you can see. It is pretty sparkly, but very tiny bubbles. The foam is frothy. It makes a slightl foamhead which dissapears soon. The foam is white. Taste: medium sweetness, lightly bitter. light body, thin feel with a very lively and fizzy carbonation, the bubbles are intersting. A fairly watery aftertaste with a long yeasty warm alcoholic finish. Overall: I don’t enjoy this beer so much, it’s to watery for it to be a good Tripel, I like a tripel with a warm alcoholic finish. I miss a good hoppy flavour. In the end it’s more like a pils with to much yeast taste. Definetly a Belgian style though. Worth a try but don’t go out of your way to get it.

Blond body with a creamy head. Citric, hoppy well balanced aroma. Heavily bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Well balanced and good complexity. Very nice.
