blipp (578), Grand Island, New York, USA May 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a beige head. Sweet fruit aroma, both citric and floral. Medium body. Flavor is lemon clenser and floral perfume. Not that good. IrishBoy (2043), Bakersfield, California, USA May 20, 2008 330ml bottle by mcbackus from Knightly Spirits! Nose is super bready & yeasty, with some light corriander and nutmeg; cloudy yellow-brown with a medium yellow tinged head; flavor had a little funkiness, some hop bitterness, lemon, and some spices; finish is very bitter and sour spiciness. Very thin body. thegreenrooster (1439), St.louis, Missouri, USA May 16, 2008 Pour is a coudy sick looking yellow with a small white head. Aroma is some vanilla and a decent amount of lime citrus. Flavor leans heavily on the lemon-lime citrus but there is also an thick creamyness. This was the cheapest of the t Smisje beers and i can see why. Nothing really to seek out but i guess something to sip on while outside on a summer day. BlackDonald (696), On a beer trip all over the USA, California, USA May 10, 2008 Not terribly impressive, had a nose I’ve smelled a thousand times in other basic Belgians. Nothing really new or impressive here. Light citrus notes, and very light spices, way light and thin on the palate, with some medicinal alcohol notes in the finish. Not the greatest thing I have ever tried. CanIHave4Beers (143), Des Moines, Iowa, USA Mar 23, 2008 Kinda weird smell, perfumy with some citrus. Big billowy head that slowly diminishes, the beer is a pretty blond color that is completely cloudy. The flavor is very strange at first sort of bitter like dirking flowers. Once the palate is accustomed to the flavor this ale is deliciously dry. Just a little it of hoppiness. The ale is nothing spectacular, but it is very drinkable.
