Pours mahogany into a snifter. Off-white head recedes to skim surface. Mild chocolate aromas. Chalky chocolate and dried fruits.

I like the look of this beer, but it feels more like a barley wine than an imperial stout, the look is heaver amber brown. The flavor hits you hard in the start and then mellows outs. still very malty and hoppy. One to enjoy

Cloudy red/amber with a small white head. The nose is sweet and malty with toffee, dark fruits and light roast. The flavor is moderately sweet with raisins, plums, pears, toffee and herbs. Medium/full body is round with moderate carbonation and a rough finish.

Bottle, 33 cl. (bought @ the brewery) Hazy dark amber-brown with off-white head. Aroma yeasts, malts, alcohol. Medium body. Taste not really like an other "stout", yeasts, bitterness, alcoholic. Special but not bad.

Bottle: Moderate depth brown pour with a huge tan head. Smells of Belgian spices, yeast, cloves, and a bit dry/dusty. Perhaps a little toffee. Tastes of a wierd chocolate and coffee blend with heavy roast. Nutty. Some lingering bitters. It did get better as it warmed up, but it seemed more like a porter mixed with a Belgian strong.

Bottle. Dark reddish brown body with a frothy light brown head. Bit roasty aroma with dark fruity notes with caramel and sugar. Some alcohol as well. Yeasty flavour with some hard roasted malt and overripe fruit. Dry finish with some tart tobacco like touch. The alcohol is present as well. More like a dark belgian strong ale than an Imperial Stout.

Bottle pours out a brown topped with a san head. Aroma of roast, sweetness and some spice. Taste of pit fruit, roast, and a little sweetness.
