Ungstrup (11075), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 23, 2004 A very powerful aroma of prunes, plums, and malt. Unclear brown with a huge though extremely fast disappearing head. The flavor is malty though sour with notes of prunes and cane sugar, very dry hoppy finish. omhper (10437), Stockholm, Sweden Jun 27, 2005 Updated: Sep 6, 2005Bottled. Hazily ruby, creamy head. Raisiny and roasty. Sweet with rounded mouthfeel and full body. Deep malt character with some cardboard. Fruity with low bitterness. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 9, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) In this early version simply called "’t Smisje Dubbel". Hazy, dark brown with a surprisingly small head. Pronounced sweetness but as always with the Regenboog biers everything is perfectly balanced by a good kick of hops. Very flavourful with the typical notes of brown sugar, roasted malts and dried fruit - I believe I can taste the dates, and the honey. This is very delicious. 070998 joergen (6253), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 20, 2006 Bottle.
