Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Pours a nice dark reddish amber color. Aromas of fruit, and some other hints, maybe some spices, maybe caramel. Flavor is a bittersweet, malty, and a hint of hops with a nice bittersweet finish.
2.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 5/20 Bosskie (216) - NETHERLANDS - FEB 1, 2010
Lightly opaque with a week head and a copper, burnt sienna colour.
Subtle spicy smell mixed with citrics and wholesome breadiness.
Lightly sweet and well balanced with fruitiness and spiciness... which unfortunately deteriorates into a very nasty aftertaste which is hard to find but is truely terrible. Like burnt soep or something. Very disappointing - very promising beer otherwise. I’m hoping it was a bad bottle and I will rerate it as soon as I can find it again.

rusty orange with rocky offwhite head.
taste is also musty spices, ginger, flowers, and really just odd.
decent, medium bodied, but leaves a super dry finish full of the same spices.

Sampled on 10/16/2009. This Belgian Ale pours a slightly hazy orange gold color from a 33cl bottle. Medium sized, quickly diminishing white foamy head with nice lacing. The aroma is honey, fruity and spicy. Medium bodied Belgian Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet with a touch of semi-sweet honey. Hops are floral and earthy. The spices are there, but are hard to identify, maybe coriander, nutmeg and allspice. They help mute a lot of malt and honey sweetness. Nice carbonation. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
