Dark with off white head. Sweet aroma of yeast, brown sugar and caramel. Flavour with the same sweetness and caramel with a light touch of fruit and some dryness. A little too sweet almost making me queasy. But just almost - it’s still beer and above average.

Pours a dark copper color with an off-white head. Aroma is of dark fruits, mostly raison, caramel, a slight sourness, yeast, and just a hint of alcohol. Flavor starts off strong of the raisons that gives way to the caramel and sweet malts. Finishes with some sourness and slight alcohol warming. Overall this is pretty decent.

Pours a cloudy medium brown with a big, light head. Aroma is really funky, with lots of grass, yeast and some other fruity flavors I can’t identify... honey, I guess. The flavor is more of the same, with the flowery fruits coming out a lot more. It’s pretty creamy and sweet compared to what the aroma and head would indicate. Pretty nice beer, I’d drink this one again.

Pours a muky brown with a dense head that very quickly fades. Smells like funky sour honey. Tastes much like it smells, with sour apple notes wrapped up in rusted honey. Weird and slightly oxidated. reminds me of Fantome in a way. It’s an ugly victory for the tastebuds, could be a killer if the rusty notes were a little less prominent.

Bottle. Pours a fairly unattractive murky brown with a thin white head. Aroma of dried dark fruits and some spicy yeast. Honey and raisins for sure on the tongue. Some spicy and dry yeast. Slightly nutty. Finishes with a pleasant tartness. Rich and creamy, fairly full bodied with good carbonation.

"Dirty" copper color with scads of effervescence streaming through the liquid and forming a tall parfait type head - Lots of tiny bubbles on the bottom that turn into shiny light canvas colored bubbles on the top. More a coating of foam verses lace. A light sweet sour scent with cherries and buckwheat honey. Sweet start with mild apples, light berries, white grapes and a very light honey attribute. A touch of acidity and a tart cherry flavor pops in to make things crisp and interesting. Easy to drink, I could see this being served with a Waldorf Salad. I can’t call it great, but I have a hard time setting it down. Far to drinkable for 8%.

bottle. pours dense and murky brown with tan head. nose is very yeasty, almost beefy, with caramel and nuts. flavor is interesting, very dense and doughy at first then evolves into a dense cookie with caramel and nuts. mouth feel is full and carbonation is lively. i wasn’t into this at first but it’s dense, yeasty, and has bold cookie flavors that really grew on me.
