Bottle 33cl @ Home.
Clear medium to dark red amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, berry, moderate yeasty, moderate to heavy raisin - dryed prune. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter, with some berry sour notes, a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. (130708)

An unclear brown beer - like muddy water. The aroma is sweet malty with citrus notes. The flavor is sweet malty with an interesting berry notes - the only one I can distinguish is cowberries.

(Bottle 33 cl) First sampled on a hot summer’s day at the brewery museum "De Snoek" in Alveringem, West-Flanders. A place that makes a virtue of having all the province’s breweries represented on the beer-menu. Excellent idea. Orangey brown, almost clear with a light brown head. Extremely complex in both aroma and flavour with notes of dried fruits (has raisins added), malty, sweet (has honey added) and very full-bodied. Easily equals some of the better trappists. 040904

33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a lacing off-white head. Sweet aroma of overripe to dried fruity and a solid caramel malt base. Flavour is quite sweet, mix of bread and fruit with a light sour and sweet brown sugarish mix. Light yeasty note lurking through. I would say that this is cloyingly sweet, but somehow it works okay if you’re prepared for it.

Flavour is spices, honey, mild yeastyness as well as some raisins, sweet malts and mild notes of alcohol. Wellbalanced and quite pleasant.

Brandy-like aroma. Unclear brown colour, no head. Tastes a bit like cheap brandy with slightly acidic notes. Refreshing acidic, sweetish flavour.

Pours hazy brown small head. Sweet malty aroma with overripe fruits. Flavor is very sweet with the presence of raisins and dates. Unbalanced and way to sweet.
