WeeHeavySD (2186), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Jan 1, 2009 Snub bottle, Halloween bottle, hell yeah, via trade with ygbtsm, thanks Brad. Pours golden orange with a tan head. Nose is sweet and light and indistinguishable. Taste is sweet and quite light. No way this tastes like 10 plus %. Gotta say I like this but I can’t really say why. TaxiDriver (622), Stadland, Germany Dec 31, 2008 Bottle. The beer smells fruity and a little bit of yeast, also quite sweet. It has a little fizzy white head with a normal duration. The body is clear and dark orange. The taste is very bitter with a long duration. It’s dry with a lot of carbonation. miketd (461), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Dec 23, 2008 These ratings are wack. This beer is great. Pours an orange/copper with a small white head. Aroma is caramel, spice, lemon, dark fruit and yeast. Lively carbonation leads to a nice bitter sweet flavor. Quite dry and zesty mouthfeel. I dont do this beer justice, it is really good. piscator34 (982), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Dec 12, 2008 Bottle sample via lubiere. Murkey orange in colour with strong carbonation. Aromas of yeasty whole wheat bread, mild sweet citrus, menthol, white grapes, flowers, and a bit of oak. Strong sweet tangerine in the mouth, along with a whole lot of savory herbal notes. Mild marshmallow and tropical fruit notes are also apparent. The alcohol is quite strong. Medium to light bodied, with a fair amount of bitterness. Fairly interesting and complex, but the strong booze element spoils it for me.
