Papsoe (9663), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 8, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Dark brown and hazy with a light brown head. Lots of malt here (four different) very roasted notes and obvious notes of the added honey and candi sugar. Sourish - severe woody nose, even a bit mouldy, but in a nice way, vinous. Sourish-sweet taste, wood, dates, lactic acid, vintage wine. Medium bodied, typical texture of old alcoholic drink. Portwine notes in the aftertaste especially. Very nice beer, graced with age, with gave it an Oud Bruin characteristic. Hildigöltur (5051), København Ø, Denmark Apr 21, 2004 Three years old bottle.
