Bottled. Hazy nutbrown colour, mediumsized creamy beige head. Aroma is grass, yeast and very weak noes of honey. Flavour is is malts, yeast, some caramel and a bit hops. No honey in flavour at all. Long yeasty and grassy aftertaste.

Bottle@Brugs Beertje, Brugge. Medium-sized, big-bubbled fluffy white head. Slight unclear, light copper colored body. Strong, almost resiny hop aroma. Fruits, sweetish malts and honey in the background. Sourish/acidic taste from the start, followed by a light malt-sweetness. Mouthfeel is thin and metallic. Rather unbalanced. Not bad, not exciting either.

UPDATED: JUN 2, 2007 Cambrinus, Brugge, New Year’s Eve. Pours a filthily murky honey colour. Nose is sweet and ..well, honeyish, souring and becoming slightly vinous as it warms. Creamily lacy palate. Disturbing notes of antiseptic and peaty smokiness. Why?? Where did the honey go? Vile, smoky, TCP-flavoured novelty beer, with a bee’s leg dipped in it.

Duft: Belgisk gær.
Smag: Sur, Meget syrlig, sur eftersmag. Vandet. Gær smag.
Generelt en halv skidt øl. - minder for meget om en ikke færdig øl.

(Bottle) Pours a murky golden-brown body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of honey, mustiness, and sourness. Flavor of yeast, sourness, and honey.

Dark amber with an OK head. Both aroma and flavour are like sour milk with a few notes of roasted malt and caramel and a nice hoppy bitterness to balance the sweetness. But the sour milk notes are too dominating, and I’m pretty sure that something is wrong with this bottle.

[bottle] Interesting honey beer; yellow hazy body, medium head. Some honey can be detected in the aroma (and even more from the emptied bottle), but the taste is unexpectedly tarty and refreshing. Interesting and original, not too sweet or watery; not too complex either. Thumbs up.

33 cl bottle, bottled in the 1st quarter of 2005. Clear amber body and a small, frothy, disappearing head; gets pretty hazy when the bottom of the bottle is poured. Assertive aroma is a mixture of fruity acidity, rubber and a bit of honey. Lemony tart, rubbery and dry taste with a mild bitter aftertaste, more fruit stone-like than hoppy. Dry, woody palate; light alcoholic finish.
