(Bottle 25 cl) Pours a very unclear orangey brown - dirty river water style - and an off-white, dissipating head. Sweetish aroma of overripe fruits and brown sugar. Very full-bodied with accents of apricots and prunes and perhaps a touch of port. Solid but not overly refined. Big, lumpy impurities. 110206

Dark maroon color with a big, fluffy, irregularly colored brown head that lasts a long time and leaves good lacing. Aroma of freshly baked bread, caramel and toffee. Flavor is dominated by malt and yeast, as well as light spice, maybe nutmeg. Good body. Nice Christmas ale, worth trying.

Hazy dark amber color. Aroma of malt, caramel, candi sugar, spices. Caramel, malt, light sweet liquorice, spices, oranges, some sweetness. Long caramel final. If you take care of letting it loose some carbonation, it's an excellent Christmas beer.
