Bottle with Craig, consumed at mine 09-04-10 picked up at Dranken Geers, March 2010 Pours a hazy chestnut colour with a light beige head. There is light spice and a touch of demarara on the nose. Good trickly bitterness, bit yeasty and with some caramel. Nice beer but considering its hoppiness it was overshadowed by the previous two Mikkellers A7 A3 F8 P4 Ov15 3.7

Bottle courtesy of Travlr trying to make a point that some of the Smisje beers don’t suck. This one definitely does not suck. It pours a muddy brown with a thick mocha head that has very good retention/lace. Aroma is cinnamon schnapps. Taste is no joke, a B-52 shot: Bailey’s, Kalhua abound. Really awesome.
2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Papsoe (25131) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 15, 2010
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a cloudy dark amber - close to brown - with a tiny, rough off-white head. Aroma is a strange blend of phenols and hops. Medium body, extreme carbonation, caramel, overripe and dried fruits with a massive bitterness. Very alcoholic finish too. Rough and unrefined. Belgian yeast and heavy hops rarely blend well together. 150310

Thick lasting brown head with good lacing. Dark brown hazy body with some sediment. Aroma is spiced, heavy malt, caramel, citrus and fresh hops. Heavy sweet taste in the beginning and a long lasting bitter finish. The taste is well balanced. Warming feel, sticky texture.
