Bright hazed orange and a lively puffy white head. Orange banana spice nose. Rich spice and pulpy pumpkin and mango fruit bready finish. Odd grating carbonation. Has some good flavours but seems crudely put together.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Damico (1222) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 4, 2010
The aroma of honey and syrup are dominant. The appearance of bright golden honey, but not too light, with a nice white head on top. The flavor is sweet, honey-like notes, and a smooth settling on the palate wherre alcohol notes are tame.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 BigMomma (214) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JUN 28, 2010

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 lagermonkey (725) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - JUN 4, 2010
Picked this one up during my trip to Belgium. According to the bottle, this beer is brewed with water, barley malt, candy sugar, pumpkin, hops and yeast. Bottle conditioned. Looks like it’s best before third quarter of 2013 and is brewed 5 years before the "best by" date, fall of 2008.
Pours a luminous hazy orange with a thin but persistent snow white head. Smells of peppery spice, green apple and tangerine.
Alternately dry, sweet and spicy in the mouth. Dry up front, I suspect from the alcohol but it’s not hot or boozy. Next the peppery and sweet spice takes over with black pepper, juniper berry and clove, perhaps a bit a ginger. The big sweetness washes all of the previous flavors away. Big fruity maltiness, sweetened apples and pears. Sweetish finish with a thin hop bitterness peeking out.
Big flavors here, all battling for attention. Somehow it all works. This is not a casual drinker, this is a beer that demands your attention. Worth a taste.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Neeskens (276) - SWEDEN - APR 30, 2010
Very hazy, almost dirty looking dark orange. Very large but light foam with huge bubbles that fall back quickly. Massive yeast sediment in the bottle. Very rich spicy flavour. A lot of yeast and warmth from the high ABV.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 vtafro (1550) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - APR 19, 2010
Bottle. Hazy golden pour with some white lacing head. Notes of pumpkin seeds and bit of alcohol. A bit too strong for a pumpkin beer imo, but nice change.
