Apple and cider, light caramel, honey. Sweet nose with a bit of a tang in there. The spice aroma has probably attenuated over the year that I’ve had this beer. Mild hop character. Cloudy dark amber with thin lacing off-white head. Mild suspensions of yeast. Medium-heavy watery body with lively carbonation. Starts sweet with apple cider and light oxidation. Mild acidic bitterness but not harsh. Light sweet caramel and thin wheat flavor. Bit of spice character but not sure that I could discern what spice. Not a bad quaff. alexanderj (2227), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 12, 2009 On tap at Beachwood about a week ago. Poured a cloudy amber color with a creamy looking head. Aroma of yeast, fruit and herbs. Some sugariness, but very earthy overall. Flavor was the same; slightly sweet. Didn’t pick up mustard flavor, as it came off more herbal and earthy. Liked it better than most it seems. jstraw (758), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 24, 2009 Hazy orange with good, creamy white head / Sour nose of mustard and orchard fruit / Medium body, sour and malty, with some dryness on the good finish / Flavors of mustard, banana, pineapple, and resin / The mustard flavor is very off-putting. It’s a well made beer, but this just isn’t a good idea. esjaygee (1519), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 16, 2009 Mildly hazed mustard yellow with a thin off-white head that sl9wly fades away. Aroma of heavy mustard and yeast. Can some one pass me a hot dog, since this belong on there. Not overly off-putting but even before I take a sip, I’m pretty sure I won’t be drinking much of this one. And it turns out I was right. It’s just wrong. Spicy mustard just overpowers anything else they might have tossed in there. Sure there’s notes of Belgian yeast but that mustard comes to the forefront, middle and back end of every single sip I chose to take. Chalky body and a dry finish. anders37 (4607), Malmö, Sweden

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Aug 3, 2009 Nice crisp hazy golden coloured body with a very large and loud tan head - nice! Aroma of bananas, strong metal, wheat, yeast, coriander seed and a touch of spice. Medium-bodied; Assertive effervescence with a sweet taste up front fading to a cherry and mild banana flavour, then fading to the more traditional yeast, wheat, spice and a touch of citrus. Aftertaste shows dry hops, bitter malt, a touch of metal and some light alcoholic tastes. Overall, a decent belgie, not my absolute favourite, but definitely not bad in any way! I sampled this 33 cL stubby bottle purchased from Half Time in Poughkeepsie, New York on 02-August-2009 sampled a bit later in the day in Upstate New York. Parket (242), Bruges, Belgium
