Bottled at Monks Cafe in Philly. Nice solid beer. Was hoping for a little more spice but it held up well. Very good for the style.

11.2 oz bottle obtained at John’s Grocery in Iowa City, IA. Clear orange color with a fleeting bubbly white head. Aroma is vegetal with a hint of soy sauce and a whiff of cured meat. Strange but true. Flavor, by contrast, is quite fruity...apples mostly with a yeasty note. It really does a tangy tap dance on the tongue. Almost vinous or cidery. What I want to know is...where’s the mustard?

Aroma is quite yeasty, slightly spicy and fruity (oranges). Very cloudy, yellow coloured with a decent white head. Taste is moderate sweet, yeasty, malty and fruity (oranges). Some honey in it. It has spicy tones but I neever tasted any mustard. Well bodied, slightly hopbitter in the finish.

Purchesed at the lovely whole foods market on 24th and 7th ave in manhattan smells like what i would expect an octoberfest event to smell like, besides a nice belgian yeast it its very delisious, unable to understand the low percentile. a mustard ale whats not to like it awesome. fine belgian brew

Bottle from Utobeer. Mustard beer! Skeptical at first, but pleasantly surprised. Whoda thunk this marriage would work? Hazy amber in colour with white head. Typical Belgian nose with sweet hints of mustard and honey - like dijon. Taste of wholegrain mustard and malts. Minimal bitterness and salty finish. I really like it. More than just a novelty.

Bottle: Lightly hazy orange color, thin head and very little lacing. The nose is very belgian with a spicy yeast and peppery apricot note, light hop and a touch of apple juice. The flavor is a bit grainy with an odd cidery texture and mouthfeel, if I didn’t already know this had mustard in it, I would never had known, but maybe I’m just tasting it because I think I do. Finishes a bit sweet and tart, more of that cidery taste. The tail is brief. An odd belgian.

Cloudy orange brown color. No head. Sweet aroma of spices and almost like fermented sour fruit. Lots of gueuzey fruit in the upfront flavor. The finish is quick and dry. Interesting if not memorable beer.

Thanks Tim. Cloudy gold, thin white head. Nose is pepper, yeast, spice, orange, earthy malt. Flavor is light caramel, lemon, yeasty spice, mustard, something green. Mustard/spice finish.
