Bottled. An amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet and very spicy - mustard and coriander, combined with notes of over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with very strong notes of mustard and over ripe fruits, leading to a dry and a bit watery end.

Pours a cloudy copper with high carbonation that takes away the head quickly. Aromas of light pineapple, cheese, slight sour apple, and coriander. Flavors are medium spicy, slight note that is fishy(my glass or mustard?), Belgian sugars, coriander, and lightly bready. Medium sweet, slightly sour/tart with mostly a clean finish except for a slight bitter note and spice. Don’t notice to much of a distinguished difference with the mustard seed. Pretty good overall.

Bottle. Hazy amber appearance, small white foamy head, cinnamon-cumin aroma, sweetish spicy cherry taste, low carbonation, spicy finish with liquor aftertaste. It tastes like a lambic beer.

On tap at Memphis taproom. Murky gold off white head. Sweet candy nose. Generally average profile. Nothing outstanding

Beautiful brown orange unfiltered beer. slightly tan lingering head. aroma of musty yeasty lemons. Mustardy and salty. The dark candy sugar takes it over the top, making it too much of a malta goya product. A disappointment.

Meh. Basic light-colored beer, no real aroma. Tastes light and somewhat sweet, mustard, and a bit of bitterness. Clean finish. OK beer.

On tap and stemware served at the Bavarian Lodge in Lisle, IL., displaying a hazed, orange/gold color, with a white, frothy head, and very clingy, curtainy lacing. The aroma was "grandma’s attic" yeasty funkiness, fruit, light spice, with light tartness. The flavor continued these, added subtle sweetness, moderate hop bitterness, some dry spiciness that I can only attribute to the mustard seed, maybe some herbal hints, but an overly fizzy effervescence with a seltzery nature to it, in a medium-light body. Interesting brew, but could only enjoy in short sips without belching.

Bottle. Pours deep gold with a medium-sized off-white head that leaves lots of lacing. Aroma is quite malty, moderately yeasty, some fruit and sweetness. Flavor is sweet, malty, lots of caramel, some banana and fruit esters, quite yeasty, candi sugar. Wouldn’t have picked up the mustard unless tipped off -- still not sure I get mustard. There is a generally spicy, sort of vegetal, vaguely metallic flavor. Is that mustard? Who knows. Interesting. Pretty good, in spite (or because?) of the lack of specific mustardiness. Medium palate.

On-tap in Daisey’s: Brugge, on 18th Oct 2012. Light golden in body with white lacing. Would never have guessed this was a ’mustard’ beer unless I’d been told. I couldn’t find a trace of mustard flavours in my glass: aroma wise or in the taste. I thought it interesting and yeasty, hints of spices and candid fruits but no mustard for me. This was my first beer of the evening so my tatse buds should have been fit enough to find some mustard if there was any! Try it please: but the mustard presence is low, or at least it was in my 33cl glass.

Farmer’s Cabinet, Philly tap: Pours an orange color with a white head. Aroma is Belgian yeast. Taste is kind of light like mineral water flavored with beer. I didn’t really get too much mustard taste out of this. Basically, this is just a slightly sweet Belgian ale. I’ve had better, and I’ve had worse.

Hazy bronze amber with an airy cider head. Quite fizzy. Sprightly Belgian yeast fills the nose, accompanied by beer crusts and a touch of mustard seed. Bready beer crusted body. Mustard and Belgian sugar spiced body.
