UPDATED: MAY 31, 2014 On tap, Prague beer museum. Reddish brown, beige head. The aroma is distinctly IPAesque, but the taste is more complex, bringing in sweet caramel elements. Rather interesting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tapped at le senk in Bratislava/Slovakia. Nice red ruby color. Stable soapy head. Aroma of malt backbone and dominant sweet biscuit marmalade. Taste is watery, but malty, refreshing and hoppy in the end. Overall very drinkable, not mind blowing, but very good!

Tap at Starosloviensky. Aroma quite intense, hoppy, fruity, tempting. Clear deep ruby colour. Off-white head, moderate duration. Taste is mostly hoppy, malt providing just the backbone. Decent earthy bitterness with less pronounced fruity flavour than expected. Aroma was nice but flavour is coming short. However has an interesting twist, wet forest. Nevertheless still a good beer with no off impressions.

Bottle. Nicely balanced aroma of piney-resiny hops with traces of mango, caramel malts and some strawberry esters. Medium body, strong though not overbearing bitterness. Sounds like a perfect session beer? Alas, it is not. The beer seems to miss something. Maybe a more pronounced malty flavour? Some light sweetness? A softer mouthfeel? Instead, the finish is rather rough and vegetal. Slightly disappointing.

Dark amber / brown color, hazy with big and long lasting head. Intensive aroma of caramel and low bitterness. Very pleasant taste of caramel, malts with additional earthy and grassy notes. Low carbonation. High drinkable beer! IMO it’s rather ESB, really good ESB :)
