COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A golden-hued ale made from barley malt and soft, white Northwest Winter Wheat malt. This American-style wheat beer, typically served with a slice of lemon, contains a small amount of visible haze and is mild in flavor with a somewhat tangy finish.

I like wheat beers, and this one was nice. Light yellow, slightly hazy. Citrus and wheat aroma. Medium body. Nice bitter finish.

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2007 On Tap at the BrewPub. Light golden hazy yellow with a decent white head and lacing. faint light malt aroma. Advertised specifically as not yeasty and thick, but I thought I detected a bit of the german yeast flavors. Just a tad. Tasted light, slightly citrusy, maybe because of the stupid lemo they stuck on my glass, and slightly sweet. It was tall, cold, refreshing and not unpleasant.

Draft: Yellow color with a light haze, smaller white head and light lacing. Nose is light citrus and wheat. Tastes sweet with caramel and citrus, some wheat and malt tones. Caught me off guard, this was pretty good.

On Tap at the brewpub pours out cloudy gold topped with a small white head. A nice aroma of wheat and citrus. I also picked up a little citrus in the tast as well. not bad.

Aroma is fruity, hops, and wheat. Pours a traditional wheat color with amazing lacing. Tastes slightly bitter with a good wheat feel. Zesty on the palate and not too dry, mild malts as well. A very straight forward wheat beer, but not very complex.

Tap at brewpub: Cloudy applesauce color with not much head. The aroma is pleasant, almost citrusy. Strong wheat flavors and aftertaste with a mildly bitter and somewhat soapy finish.

My mother's favorite beer here. Fairly tasty I must admit. The wheat is out in force and the light touch of hops works wonders. I tend to not only disagree with my Mom's selection of beer, but with wheat beer in general, but I thought this was one of the stronger beers I tried. Good balance, interesting flavor, and all in all an interesting rendition of a usually poorly done style.

Aroma is wheaty and light hops. Golden pour with some head, nice lacing. Wheaty, light hops, kind of fruity, but that may be the lemon. Smooth flavor and pleasant aftertaste.

3/7/08 on draught at the brewpub. Aroma is light and grainy, with faint wheat sourness and no hop flora. Appearance is very clear yellow gold with a well maintained white head. Flavor is very tangy and light, with more sourness than sweetness and low on hop characteristics. Mouthfeel is very light bodied with medium carb feel and funky earthy finish. Overall, not too easy drinking and a bit rough for those looking for an american hef.
