COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A huge, bold barley wine. Not for the weak, yet amazingly smooth. A great winter sipper.

Poured into a little(r) cup with one finger of head on a deep copper colored body. The smell is faint; mild grain and bread. I was hoping for a little more. The taste is nice with barnyard sweetness and mild lemon bitterness. The texture is smooth with low carbonation. A solid barleywine and enjoyable.

Nice dark pour. Heavy bourbon smell. Slightly sour aroma. Very strong flavor. Lots of bourbon and chocolate flavors. Very good.

At Jupiter during Sour Sunday 2014. (my first one from this brewery) Clear copper with a small head. Toffee, dried fruit, some warming alcohol and malt. Not bad at all but I though this one would be a bit thicker.

Draft. Called YAB Barleywine with the same ABV - figure it stands for Ye Auld Bitch. Rich amber/copper beer with a cream head. Caramel and light banana aroma. Caramel/toffee flavor with light brown sugar. Medium bodied. Caramel/toffee and light coffee lingers with light brown sugar.
