Bottle at home, courtesy of Aaron. Thanks man! Pour is murky orange with a ton of floaters and a white head - decent lacing. Big tannic, apricot skin, peaches, some biscuit, pepper, grass, and pineapple in the aroma. Taste is big peach juice, pineapples, lemons, mango, some grass, floral, and honey with a medium sour finish. Medium body with lots of pulp/chunks and high carbonation. Tasty sour - but get with the filter program.

Bottle @ Steve_0, thanks to readbaron for sending! Pours a cloudy yellow orange appearance with a white head. Some apricot pulp is visible in the beer. Juicy apricot / peach, some apple, white wine, funk, and basement aromas. Quite tart. Lot of juicy stone fruit. Fairly dry. A little funky. Maybe a bit too sour but it’s not that bad. Kind of fun.

Sampled at THE FESTIVAL 2014 in LA with Linh and Scarlett. I’d never heard of these guys, until GT mentioned their stuff was actually top notch (thanks for the heads up, man!) Pours a golden body with foamy lacing. Aroma is juicy fruits - peach, mango, and apricot. Mouthfeel is bright and tart with notes of sour fruits - peach, mango, nectarines, apricot; the juiciness of the fruit is balanced perfectly by the acidity. Some fresh grass and tangy white wine barrel fall on the palate as well. Awesome sour ale.

On tap @ The Festival 2014. Hazed golden pour with white foam. Nice lemon zest and tart apricot on the nose. Hints of peach and yogurt. Some grass and a touch of cider vinegar. Flavor is quite sour. Very heavy on the stone fruit. A bunch of yogurt and lemon juice. Hints of citrus zest. Good, but would be better if it were a bit less acidic.

>> Clear golden pour, weaker foam. Nose is mild vinegar, sharp juicy nectarine, fuzzy apricot, green mango. Brighter and fresher over time. Taste is quite sour, tangy, excellent fuzzy apricot, sour nectarine. Palate is lively, nice acid, not overdone, and extremely juicy apricot forward. Very good.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2014 Bottle courtesy of Hĺkan (non-RB). Pours hazy vibrant orangish yellow with a thin white head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity and funky with crackers, apricots, peach skins, mango, sour cherries, clementines, barnyard, hay, dry soil, minerals, grape skins, dry wood and lemon zest. Taste is sour, fruity and funky with crackers, lemon juice, lime juice, apricots, peaches, papaya, hay, dry soil, barnyard, minerals, orange zest, dry wood, Chardonnay wine, lemon zest, sour cherries and hints of apple cider vinegar covered ripe stone fruits. Mouthfeel is dry, tart, tiny mouth-puckering and light to medium bodied. Finish is sour, fruity and funky with crackers, lime juice, apricots, peaches, sour cherries, barnyard, hay, dry soil, dry wood, grape skins, orange zest, lemon zest and hints of apple cider vinegar. Great complex sour funky fruit saison. Just some hints of apple cider vinegar that drags it down slightly.

"A cool saisonish wild base with just the right amount of sweet and tart fruit in top. Dry, fairly acidic, moderately sour. Good stuff...heard its even better on tap. Guess ill have to investigate. Gotta up it a tenth. 4+ in the bottle, but a fruitier 4.2+ on tap."

I’m surprised this isn’t more highly rated. It’s an excellent sour saison with a very good fruit flavor. The beer pours fairly cloudy and orange-ish amber. The head is white, small-ish. The aroma is apricot jam on top of oak, funk and a light saison base. Moderate level of funk. Barnyard and dust with a pleasant touch of dry cheese mold. The fruit is very well expressed, juicy and jammy and natural. Some light malt in the background. Gentle pale malt sweetness and a delicate floral apricot fruitiness kick off the taste. Acidity picks up gently and rises to a satisfying level. Oak and funk dry things out in the finish. Moderate pucker. Normal carbonation. Some body to it. This is fantastic stuff. Lots of flavor. Refined and fruity.

Pours from a 12 oz bottle. Aroma is fairly fruit with a nice apricot character. Light phenolic spicy note and light oak character. Light Brett character of tropical fruit and barnyard funk. Pours a somewhat cloudy, pale golden orange with a small, fairly thin white head that steadily recedes to the edges where it lingers. Medium light lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet but also with a balanced acidity. Moderate apricot character with some medium light oak and faint tannins. Medium light Brett character with mostly tropical fruit but also a touch of barnyard funk. Dry finish with juicy fruit character. Light malt notes and light citrus. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, another really nice fruity saison from Tahoe Mountain; this brewery is really good. Nice oak character balances the fruitiness and adds good complexity. Brett character is light but works well.
