COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An instant favorite with the brewers and staff! Our take on this classic recipe brings forward sweet chocolate and toffee notes, backed by a roasted coffee aroma.

Poured into a U.S. pint glass. A finger of head on a dark brown body. The aroma is chocolate and roasted malt. The taste mimics the smell with a mild bitterness to balance it out nicely. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. A solid and tasty porter.

(En fût à la source): Des céréales vives, une présence mocha soutenue et un angle anisé sur une charpente moyenne.

On draught at TK’s Pizza in Tehachapi. Brown-black pour with a medium foamy beige head that recedes steadily to a dense film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and coffee. Medium body with flavors of chocolate malt, mild coffee and a touch of earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

A nice smoky porter. Pours a deep black with a tan head. Smells of coffee and vanilla, hint of nuttiness. Taste is creamy, with lots of coffee, smoked sausage and vanilla. Bit of a strange malty finish. Had on tap at the brewery.

On tap at the Brewpub during our trip around the lake. Nice thick dark black/brown pour. Small head, good lace. Aroma of coco and sweet malt. Good body on this rich coco and sweet malt tasting brew. Of course it gets richer as it warms.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2016 "Pretty spot on in the description. Sweet chocolate, toffee, and coffee...but... Kinda Simple and looks and drinks like a nice, chocolatey brown ale rather than a porter. It’s nice, though, and I may up my score upon repeat tastings." Just called Porter on the last visit. Much better than the original 3.2.

Draft at restaurant in Tahoe City. Dark chocolate and coffee in the nose, some milky sweetness. Taste is chocolate mostly, with just a hint of coffee and a drying finish. solid beer!
