COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is what beer is all about, a nice little bite at first swallow followed by a blossom of flavors delivered by our hand picked aromatic hops and carried through the end with a full fisted kick of alcohol content that rocks the richtor scale at 6.5%. Yeah, this is what beer is all about!

24-oz. can into a pint glass at my house on Oct. 13, 2012 (purchased at Village Square Liquor & Kegs in San Diego for $1.99 on Oct. 13, 2012). Honey amber with two fingers of white head. Average retention on the sides and on the top. Smelled honey, caramel, heavy malts, syrup and light citrus (nectarine) hops. Tasted honey, syrup and malts up front, giving way to a nasty finish of sharp alcohol, slight citrus (orangeish/tangerine) hops and bitter finish. Medium-to-light body. Thin texture. Average carbonation. Bitter syrupy finish. Just a bad beer all-around, save for the cheap price. I would never have this again on purpose. I feel sorry for someone who tries this beer as their first IPA.

Can, can reads 5% alc. and 44IBUs, this ale had a clear light red-gold pour and made a two to three faint off-white head that receded quickly to a thin layer, the glass had lots of carbonation, it left little lacing, it had aromas of cheap macro alcohol notes I get in cheap macro beers, some toasted malt, and faint grass hops in the background, the flavors were cheap macro alcohol, faint toasted malt, there was a taste of wet leaf and grass hops, there was very little if any hop bitterness in this beer, it had a light mouth feel with lively carbonation, this beer was pretty bad, it had the cheap macro alcohol on the nose and palate, the cheap alcohol permeates through out this drink, which I find to be in a lot of the beers made by this brewery, an awful IPA, I had a hard time drinking this stuff, I would never buy this beer again,

For what it is -- a self-proclaimed "session" IPA -- it’s ok at best. Nice enough mouthfeel albeit no aroma. Maltiness flavor is not bad tho weak. The problem here truly is that the hops are very nuanced. I’d call this more a session pale, but it’s a bit muddled. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

24 oz can. Made me laugh when I saw it so I had to try it. Pours a slightly cloudy golden orange color with a 1 finger head that quickly fades. Blah aroma. Getting sweet corn syrup, honey, and a very light fruitiness. Taste is pretty gross. Way too sweet, almost no bitterness, no hops. Miller Lite has more hops and bitterness than this. How can they can this an IPA? DO NOT BUY. Drain pour.

12oz can pours copper with gold hues and weak near white head. The mild aroma offers up malts that sweeten up a vague faint citrus hop note as well as honey and a mat liquor pear esteriness. The taste is malty, sugary cherry hard candy mess and vague and sometimes resiny hops. How is this selling? A horrible IPA. Sure glad I didn’t go for a six of this or the big can. I don’t think I’ll try and finish this 12oz-er. Kitchen sink drain, here I come.

Sample at the end of the day at the St Paul Beer Dabbler - doesn’t stack up to the better IPAs out there in the market.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4035) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 28, 2013
Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a bright orange-amber color with a large creamy/soapy yellow-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet yeasty, bready and had a light citric hop presence. The flavor was sweet, tart and tangy with notes of Sweettart candies, lemon, bread dough and pepper. Medium length tart, tangy lemon and pepper finish. Medium body. Ok.

Pours clear coppers with a white foamy head. Aroma of fruit, pine, and some hops. Fruity with honey, some caramel, and just a touch of hops. Disappointing.

I love this beer! This is the perfect answer to what beer my buddies and I can enjoy during any game or block party. At a reasonable price to the average domestic.. It just taste better then the average everyday beer. Light crisp finish, with just the right amount of hop. And at 5%, we can drink these all day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from Blue Dog. Pours medium copper, the color of a brand new penny, with 1-finger white head. Nose is orange marmaladey fruit, hops, caramel malt. Tastes caramel malty, a bit metallic, with subdued hops, fruit, and some sweet honey flavor in the finish.

Can from Casa De Oro. Mildly hopped and spicy. Some peppery hop notes. Not what I would consider a good IPA, but still oddly enjoyable. The new version is 5% abv and is touted as a session style IPA.
