3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A nice clear amber body with a frothy head which although did have nice retention it lacked a decent lace. A slightly elevated carbonation. Aroma had some nice citrus hops and some resinous hops, but mostly a sweet malt base mostly sugar but some caramel malts. Flavor was domintially sweet malts, i never found it to be anywhere close to being cloying but it was sweeter then bitter. Finish was smooth and full. A nice beer that really was lacking in a few areas. Still is an adequate session ale.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours a medium gold, with a white head.
Malty aroma, hints (hints!) of hops, honey, cardboard, citrus.
Semi-sweet, medium bodied, low bitterness, balanced CO2.
Fruity, sugary taste, caramel, honey, cardboard.
IPA? Who stole the hops? Really dissappointing. (2013-11-30)

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 6/20
Can poured a clear golden amber with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of bread, earthiness, plastic and light fruitiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, plastic, earthiness and a hint of citrus with a crisp dry bitter lingering plastic finish. Absolute Crap!

12 ounce can purchased from Grocery Outlet. 2013 Vintage. The aroma on this is sweet, syrupy, and floral. Some green apple is also lingering, too. Doesn’t smell much like an IPA. Transparent golden body with a slight orange hue present. Small, quickly dissipating white head. Starts really sweet and sugary. Light husk in the middle. Finishes with virtually no hop bitterness. Perhaps a little floral flavor. Pretty bad IPA. Kinda of sweet for being a wimpy amber ale, too.

Tallcan from totalwine. Taste is trash. Would almost rather drink a bud light. Don’t waste your time.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Clear amber coloured body with a thinnish, one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of funky malt, stale hops, flowers and a bit of spruce. Medium-bodied; Strong malt flavour with earth, metal, stale hops and not much of anything else - perhaps a light sweetness. Aftertaste shows the funky malt, funky hops and touches of caramel with the not pleasant metal and medicinal flavours. Overall, a pretty bad offering, not really worth trying, even for the novelty of the 24 ounce can (culprit). I sampled this 24 ounce can purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on 02-August-2013 for US$2.99 sampled a day later at home in Woodhaven, Michigan.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour from a 12 oz can. Orange/amber brew with overly large head when poured. Aroma of a little resin. Taste is light and sweet at the start, maybe a little corn, finishes with a mild resinous bite and hints of vegetal adjuncts... . Very light flavor. I am sampling the 2013 "session-style" version and the cans are a little on the warm side. Enjoyable enough on its own merits. Six pack from the Otsego Hardings.
