Ricey Asian beer water, the usual. Nothing different about this then your Kirin or whateves. Boom.

Can purchased from the local Ranch 99 -- too lazy to input it as a place just to show distribution in California. Pours clear golden with a medium white head that dissipates slowly with some lacing.. Aroma is corn syrup, grass, cardboard. flowers. Flavor is actually not bad, although with a cardboard note that is annoying. Light sweet, not much actual bitterness, but refreshing.

can my roommate brought back from taiwan: cheap water lagery with some grainy notes. sweet corn and herbal tannins. I suppose this might be good with some food.

500 ml bottle purs a clear golden color with tiny white head. Smells grainy. Aroma is slightly skunky with corn and wheat but litlle hops presence. Finish is slightly bitter. Body is thin to medium withoug too much carbonation. Nothing special or horrible here; just another inoffensive pale lager.

12oz bottle in a Taiwan beer glass. Pours light golden with no head. Aroma of pale malts, light hops, and some dough. Flavor the same. Light texture. A standard pale lager.

It comes in a nice bottle with a cool logo that says "Gold Medal", and "World Class Beer", but they could honestly say whatever they want; "The First Beer in Space", "Ancient Indochine Cure For Cancer", or "The President’s Favorite Beer". What matters though is the beer itself, and unfortunately it is kind of gross, and now I have a pint of it to choke down.

Thanks to the Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Corp and BlackIPA. I suppose this would be a great thirst quencher on the train back to your house after a long day of work in Taiwan. Fizzy, yellow, grainy, good. Slightly stale unfortunately. Finishes with hopes of getting buzzed, but not very quick.
