33cl bottle. Chongqing, China. Golden color with a small white head. Malt and some grassy notes in the aroma. Flavor is grainy malt, hint of hops and a slight bitterness in the finish.

It comes in a nice bottle with a cool logo that says "Gold Medal", and "World Class Beer", but they could honestly say whatever they want; "The First Beer in Space", "Ancient Indochine Cure For Cancer", or "The President’s Favorite Beer". What matters though is the beer itself, and unfortunately it is kind of gross, and now I have a pint of it to choke down.

Thanks to the Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Corp and BlackIPA. I suppose this would be a great thirst quencher on the train back to your house after a long day of work in Taiwan. Fizzy, yellow, grainy, good. Slightly stale unfortunately. Finishes with hopes of getting buzzed, but not very quick.

Bottle. Light gold with a white head. Grainy, slightly corny, with a little bit of a dirty grainy finish. Not awful.

Multiple cans and draft compliments of CK at the Howard. Yep, pretty much like every other rice made pale lager in the world EXCEPT I swear I tasted green tea.

Pours golden with a short-lived head. The hop notes in the nose are inoffensive and featureless; the malts in the nose are somewhere between hay and white bread. The flavors I found are starchiness, steamed rice and a little grassiness from the hops. It is somewhat bittersweet. The carbonation is soft to average and inoffensive. The finish is there, but characterless. This beer is not good, but not terrible either.

This may be the first beer that I am semi-hesitant to drink, but the can is so awesome looking, I have to give it a try. 11oz can. Rice lusted as an ingredient. Awesome. Pours a clear gold color with a white head. Aromas of rice and failed attempts at democracy. Blood on the streets. Rice on the tongue. Sweet taste with an industrial finish. Below minimum wage sweat shop workers. Tears. Failure. Shattered dreams. Apathy. Fuck.

H-Mart, Merrifield, VA 330ml can: Pours a quickly dissipating head with straw body. Aroma is weak. Taste is weaker. Taste is actually slightly offensive, so I don’t know what all these people be saying about it not being offensive. I think I got beef with the aftertaste. There is a modicum of hops, but who cares really. Well, at least I tried a beer from Taiwan.

Can, much cooler looking than the pictured bottle. Pours a pale, weak yellow. Minimal head. Tastes more like a European pale lager than an American one. Some detection at a hint of light hops, but still pretty much piss.
