Thisted tasting. Courtesy of After4ever, thanks Tom for this new country! It is golden with a white head. The aroma is mild with notes of malt and light fruit. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, light caramel and light fruit. It is easy to drink – and above all – a new country.

350ml can - thanks to a friendly nun!
Pale gold, large but brief fizzy head. Orangy or lemony sharp fruity aroma, a touch of whole maize. Slightly fizzy palate, a little watery. Very papery taste, dry, ever so brief spicy ginger hint, some other dodgy tanginess, and tingly hop extract sensation for a finish. Improves as it flattens and warms, becomes more malty. Better than many a macro lager.

Canned @ home, courtesy of blackipa. Thanks for the fucken Taiwanese dong, bra! Pours a bit hazy yellow appearance with a thin white head. Rice, zesty lemon, a bit spicy, sweet malty aroma. Bitter, quite watery, a touch citrusy, lightly metallic flavor. Bleh.

Blackout beer #1! Drank during massive blackout across Ontario. Pale yellow, and fizzy. Pours big white head that vanishes. Smells faintly of hops. Bitter finish that doesn't linger on the tongue. Bit of alcohol esters in the background.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2006 Large bottle (1L I think), bought in Taiwan. Classic clear-golden yellow pale lager appearance. Surprisingly, I can pick out some green hops in the aroma. Palate is on the thin side, but finishes nicely with a very mild hop note. Better than I expected-- I wonder if this is because I had it in its country of origin (and maybe therefore it was fresher)?
