3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
330 ml bottle from Sobeys Liquor, served in a nonic pint glass. Pours a bright, clear straw yellow with light, fine carbonation and a pearly off-whitecap that crackles loudly but doesnít disappear in a blink, leaving a few lace islands. Aroma is unsweetened cereals and dusty, herbal hops; flavor is moderately malty but without the sweetness of so many light lagers. Iím impressed! Did not expect that. Just a touch of sweet fruitiness in the sip thatís apple-like, but not acetaldehyde-y. Has a nice bit of body to it, and finishes cleanly. A very tasty and friendly lager I donít have to fly to Bangalore to enjoy. Really nice!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at a local Indian Restaurant. Was hesitant to try this beer, as Pale Lagers are not among my favorite styles. But was pleasantly surprised, as i would have to rate this as the best tasting Pale Lager iíve ever had. Sweet & delicious. Tastes like itís made with honey. Am very surprised at all the low ratings...as this is a very drinkable, smooth brew with no bitterness or aftertaste.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 10/20
I kind of wish I could have an IPA from India, but a Lager is good enough. Well worth the experience.

650mL bottle. Straw yellow pour with a tiny fizzy white head that quickly dissapates. Aroma of stale corn and rice. Thin mouthfeel, stale aftertaste along with a mild headache. Typical pale lager.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Drank from a couple bombers the other night at our friendsí house on a night where we got Indian carry-out. Pours a clear gold color, on the paler side of the spectrum, with a small white head that lasts a while as a ring. No skunk in this one - actually had a surprising fresh snap to it - with straw, grass, pale and corny and cereal malts, and a bit of cracker, faint fruits (apple, pear), and just a touch of a mineral or metallic thing. Very light, though. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a crisp, malty mouthfeel. Pretty decent, actually.
