Poured from a bottle into a pilsner glass. Golden transparent color. A good inch and half of white head and lots of bubbles. Beautiful looking lager in the tall glass. Looks just as good as the pilsners in Czech or Germany. Strong corn smell. Not much else. Taste: Light bitterness, clean finish. Bubbly, light bodied, soft and tingly on the tongue. I thought it would be more crisp and clean but this works. It’s drinkable. Not my favorite style, but I thought this was a decent beer in the so-called "American Lager" category... though it is from India. Not sure how that works. In any case it drinks more like a pilsner, but a bit softer. It is definitely better than most of other American Lagers I’ve had.

This is so appallingly sweet. My goodness, much to be expected of a macro from India but goodness with such a strong honey sweetness. No no no

Flaske drukket 2012 (gamle notater) Farge lys gylden med hvitt skum. Lukt svak maltduft. Smak søtlig maltsmak. En lett og tynn lager

22oz bottle. Pours a golden color with small off-white head and lively carbonation. Skunky aroma with grain notes. Very sweet flavor with some skunky notes. Light bodied with a sweet finish. Not recommended.

This beer pours straw yellow with a very thin head. The aroma is grainy with a hint of floral and noticeable sweetness. The taste is thin and light, mostly malt, but with a light bite on the end a very dry finish. It pairs well with curries and such but is not a great stand-alone beer.

Bottled. 22 oz size. Pours pale yellow. Malty semi sweet aroma. Light and refreshing but a bit wheaty for the heft.

Light, watery, bland, and yellow, it’s your average pale lager. Pour is at least a nice golden shimmery with a tiny head

Originally rated on 9/8/08. A very non offensive, average aroma, taste, and mouth feel. Very standard all the way around, a decent beer on a hot day and hey I got a new country under my belt.

Clear gold appearance with not much else going on. You’re hoping for something at least slightly different with a name like that, and it ends up tasting like any other standard lager. You could have served this beer to me in a Bud bottle and I wouldn’t have known.

Rated from old notes. Mild, smooth, perfect level of carbonation. Nice lacing. Good foundation. But it’s although something is missing. Very mild hops presence, an indifferent, slightly sweet taste. Great if you like a drinkable but unadventurous lager.
