The aroma has a great deal of lager malt. This is very prominent when I take a sip of the beer. The taste is a slight bit astringent at first, but this went away. The Taj Mahal is a decent lager; not very complex, but not bad.

Butelka 0,65l pite w Indii. Kolor jasnozłoty, piana biała zanikająca. Aromat zbożowy, łagodny chlebowy. Smak słodowy, metaliczny.Trochę maślane, wypic można tylko w upałach.

>> Pours sparkling straw with poor head retention. Nose is faint orange blossom, white corn, cereal flakes, lemon. Taste is inoffensive, soda high carbonation, served pretty cold with flavors of lemon and orange pushed aside for cereal, mild white sugar, slight metallic bite. Fairly balanced though and drinkable. Never saw this for sale in India though, I think this is like Fosters, for export only.

650ml bottle shared between myself, my wife and son-in-law on 7th May 2015 along with two other Indian lagers at some random Indian restaurant in Laguna Hills, Orange County. Clean, clear and bright light golden body, a pure white crown on top. Not a lot of aroma, some light maltiness if I am being kind. Not a lot of flavour or taste, some light maltiness if I am being kind. Mild corn feel to the whole brew. Went OK with my Chicken Vindaloo, as did the other two we tried, but this is not a lager I would seek out again.

330 ml bottle from Sobeys Liquor, served in a nonic pint glass. Pours a bright, clear straw yellow with light, fine carbonation and a pearly off-whitecap that crackles loudly but doesn’t disappear in a blink, leaving a few lace islands. Aroma is unsweetened cereals and dusty, herbal hops; flavor is moderately malty but without the sweetness of so many light lagers. I’m impressed! Did not expect that. Just a touch of sweet fruitiness in the sip that’s apple-like, but not acetaldehyde-y. Has a nice bit of body to it, and finishes cleanly. A very tasty and friendly lager I don’t have to fly to Bangalore to enjoy. Really nice!

Bottle at a local Indian Restaurant. Was hesitant to try this beer, as Pale Lagers are not among my favorite styles. But was pleasantly surprised, as i would have to rate this as the best tasting Pale Lager i’ve ever had. Sweet & delicious. Tastes like it’s made with honey. Am very surprised at all the low ratings...as this is a very drinkable, smooth brew with no bitterness or aftertaste.

Big bomber of a bottle. Pours a pale golden color, some pearly white head, not much lacing. Aroma is faintly bitter hops and hay malt. Flavor is slight. Overall a drinkable beer.

Pale golden color witha minimal and quickly diminishing white head. Aroma has notes of cardboard and light malts. Flavor is slightly bittery with notes of butter. Slightly sweet in the final with a watery mouthfeel.

Bottled date 11/13. Pours pale yellow white slick head. Aroma is slight wheat and lemon. Flavor is like apple juice white wine. Not good. Very thin.

I kind of wish I could have an IPA from India, but a Lager is good enough. Well worth the experience.

650mL bottle. Straw yellow pour with a tiny fizzy white head that quickly dissapates. Aroma of stale corn and rice. Thin mouthfeel, stale aftertaste along with a mild headache. Typical pale lager.
