The aroma has a great deal of lager malt. This is very prominent when I take a sip of the beer. The taste is a slight bit astringent at first, but this went away. The Taj Mahal is a decent lager; not very complex, but not bad.

Clear golden pour with minimal head . Sweet and sticky. Lots of carbonation. Easy to session. Lots of corn. Probably tastes real good when fresh. Pretty much a standard lager

Pour form a 22 oz bottle. Clear yellow brew with white head, good head retention. Aroma dominated by malt - clean malt, no adjunct or corn to my nose. Taste is light sweet malt from start to finish, the barest hint of a sour astringency at the very end is the only suggestion of hops. A pleasant brew though rather plain.

I had this bottle poured into a pint glass. The appearance was basically a clear yellow color with a softly rising carbonation trying to fill a rapidly dissipating head that didnít leave any lacing. The smell tried to have a sweet malt running all over, but it basically just came to me as sweetened corn and a little grassy. The taste was mainly sweet and had the grassiness come back. There was a sweet dry finish. On the palate, this one sat pretty light and sessionable and the carbonation seems to sit exactly right for a pale lager. Overall, not a bad beer, but nothing over the top. I say its worthy of coming back to.

Pours a clear light yellow, with a faint head. Aromas are pale malts, corn flakes, cardboard, green apples, grass. Taste is sweet, but in a sickening way, with an off-tasting bitterness. Mouthfeel is weirdly oily and fizzy, Iím sure the person whoíd market this would use the word "Crisp". Overall this is bland and not particularily pleasant.

Bottle 65 cl.
Pale yellow with off-white head. Weak nose of hops, and some sweetness, maybe corn. Taste is cereal, some perfume and light bitterness. Not unenjoyable but rather boring.

Typical straw yellow pour with sweet grain flavor that tastes similar to a German malt. Thin but enjoyable.

[Bottle] Clear, yellow pour with a fizzy white head. Nose is of rice and light green apple. Light grass, pale malts and more green apple in the taste. Highly carbonated. Tasting notes from 12/2011.

pours straw in color with thin, white head, no lacing. Aroma is sweet corn with a little grain. Tastes like paper and bitter apples. Tart and watery. Iím trying to finish, but its hard.

341ml bottle. Pours straw yellow with almost no head. Aromas of chardonnay and maybe some apple... Taste of will it doesn?t really matter what it tastes like, the taj mahal should stick to curry...

A little head that vanishes quickly. Itís got the right colour. The booze comes out easy and it dominates. It tries to be sweet but the mix of booze and sweet is off putting. Grainy, grassy with buttery. Worth the tick but thatís all.
