5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
While this was not on tap today when I went to the tasting room at the brewery I did have this when I went to the Good Beer Festival in Salisbury in October. This was very tasty and very good. This beer is an excellent Irish Red Ale and has a great mouthfeel and is very drinkable. I highly recommend this brewery and I feel that this brewery will be going places as they become more established on the Eastern Shore Region.

12 Fl. Oz. Poured clear, brown, with a nice tan head, no real lacing. Aroma very mild hop notes, some caramel and some grain notes. Taste is sweet, caramel and fruit, some coffee undertones. Alright I guess.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
4oz pour at the brewery comes a murky oramge with a ring of off white head. Nose has some very strange, plastic, some dried leaves, a little witch hazel, prunes, candy. Flavor is slick and astringent, blood orange, some heavy herbal notes, industrial. Harsh finish.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at Brew’d Pub. Hazy amber color, thick tan head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of lightly spiced brown bread. Taste is bittersweet brown bread, nice body. Minus one appearance point because of the name - more offensive to redheads than the name of the Washington DC football team is to native Americans.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Beautiful dark red pour w/ a great tan head that fades quickly but leaves nice lacing. The aroma is fairly uninteresting & mild. The taste is light & a delight on the palate. It’s a good drinkable summer brew if nothing else.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
hazy red amber, wispy top. Oxidized sugars at front nose, cardboard and caramel, synthetic fruit sweetness. Nasty mess of alcohol, cardboard, and burnt marshmallow across the palate, oppressively full and soft in the grassy orange finish, hops dominating profile but all flaws are go.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance: deep mahogany brown, short creamy khaki head, average lacing. Aroma: molasses, caramel, and toasted brown bread, with a hint of peppery smoke. Taste: sweet caramel, molasses, light roasty coffee, bit of chocolate. Finish: lingering slight malty sweetness and a whisper of smoke. Notes: Tasting glass at the Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ Fest in Timonium, Maryland (2014). By far the best thing I tried over the course of the afternoon. Malty and sweet, but not heavy. Almost like a sweet brown ale instead of an Irish Red. I would buy a sixer of this in a heartbeat.
