While this was not on tap today when I went to the tasting room at the brewery I did have this when I went to the Good Beer Festival in Salisbury in October. This was very tasty and very good. This beer is an excellent Irish Red Ale and has a great mouthfeel and is very drinkable. I highly recommend this brewery and I feel that this brewery will be going places as they become more established on the Eastern Shore Region.

Beautiful dark red pour w/ a great tan head that fades quickly but leaves nice lacing. The aroma is fairly uninteresting & mild. The taste is light & a delight on the palate. It’s a good drinkable summer brew if nothing else.

Very nice for style. Lots of citrus and hops in this. Orange red with good head and lacing. Medium bitter finish. Nice package. Tap at Brew’d.

Draft at Brew’d Pub in Frederick, MD shared with Travlr, solidfunk, BeerandBlues2. Hazy amber with off-white head. Aromas of pine and floral notes. Tastes of bitter piney hops, floral, caramel. Medium body with a dry finish. Medium carbonation, syrupy mouthfeel.

hazy red amber, wispy top. Oxidized sugars at front nose, cardboard and caramel, synthetic fruit sweetness. Nasty mess of alcohol, cardboard, and burnt marshmallow across the palate, oppressively full and soft in the grassy orange finish, hops dominating profile but all flaws are go.

Appearance: deep mahogany brown, short creamy khaki head, average lacing. Aroma: molasses, caramel, and toasted brown bread, with a hint of peppery smoke. Taste: sweet caramel, molasses, light roasty coffee, bit of chocolate. Finish: lingering slight malty sweetness and a whisper of smoke. Notes: Tasting glass at the Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ Fest in Timonium, Maryland (2014). By far the best thing I tried over the course of the afternoon. Malty and sweet, but not heavy. Almost like a sweet brown ale instead of an Irish Red. I would buy a sixer of this in a heartbeat.

Tap at Grand Cru. Pours clear dark amber to brown with a small, fizzy off-white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is toast, light roast, and caramel malt with earthy and spicy hops. Flavor is malt dominant with medium hops and bitterness and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Growler fill. Little to no aroma, faint roasted malts. Taste is malt forward with no hops to balance out. Nothing for the palate... Def would not recommend...

Taster at the brewery. Pours clear dark reddish brown with almost no head. Tastes roasted and sweet. Light smoke flavor and sweet apple. Dry feel, like malt and cider. low/medium body and carbonation. Smells like sweet pralines and dry cinnamon.

Tap at brewery. Pours clear brown with a slight red tint. Aroma is cookie and cereal malts, caramel, dates, raisins, floral notes, and fresh dough. Flavor is dry malts with dark fruit sweetness, faint hops, and some toast; dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.
