UPDATED: APR 15, 2013 A very pale ale...packs a nice hop punch for a pale ale...similar to half acres Daisy Cutter in that it has large hop attributes but doesnt pull it off as well... rough around the edges yet a nice pale ale...must be galaxy hops I’m tasting ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a yellow color with an orange tint. Aroma is slightly fruity with a distinct hop and malt smell to it. Taste is slightly bitter for a pale ale, but a simple tasting beer. Decent beer for the style.

Straight from the can... Respectable pale ale here - I really like the 80s retro vibe this thing gives me though.

Pours a lightly hazy golden amber with a medium bubbly off white head. Aroma of tea, caramel and toasted malt along with some citrusy hop notes. Flavor of the same. Lots of tea notes and was hoping for a bit less of a malt profile.

Can sampled at clockwork’s December 8th, 2012 tasting. Pours a deep, hazy body with thick white head. Aroma is full of spice, wheat and hop. Mouthfeel is medium and pleasant - well balanced with notes of citrus hop, spice and wheat malt. Nice.

16oz can thanks to RobertDale! Pours a hazy, glowing, full orange with a massive, dense, buttermilk head. Big retention and spotty/webby lacing. Nose is dusty, mild butterscotch, ground walnuts. Taste is woody, dusty, chalky, small cantaloupe. Palate nearly astringent, but very minerally, big slate. chalk. Interesting.

Shared can at Papsoe’s summer tasting. Pours a shimmering bright gold, topped by a low blond head. Light fruity hop aroma; Tropical, oranges and faint lemon. Medium malt body, lightly toasted with a caramel note. Clean fruity bitterness. Balanced malty/bitter ending. A decent, straightforward pale ale. [14.07.12]
