COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Just like those classic video games we all grew up with, 8-Bit Pale Ale is spectacularly simple at first glance yet remarkably fun and complex when you get into it. Our Hop Rocket infuses the character of Australian grown Galaxy Hops into an American Pale Ale, giving a unique tropical, almost melon aroma in a classic American style.

ABV: 5.2%

Hazy copper color with a medium head. Grassy aroma. Fairly grainy and grassy flavor. Moderate bitterness. I would never have guessed Galaxy hops, as it shows none of the character of that hop.

(16oz can) Pours a clear yellow body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of orange, toasted grain, and caramel. Flavor of pine, grain, florals, and earth with a moderately bitter, dry finish.

16oz can into Duvel tulip. A- Golden flax with lacy two finger head, hazier than expected, but for some reason looks really appealing. S- Weak aroma of dank hops, really have to swirl it to get much aroma. T- A bit of light malt, some weak citrus and dank hops, overall pretty underwhelming. M- A bit thicker than expected given the ABV and overall lack of flavor, crisp carbonation. O- Pretty unimpressive pale ale, the flavor and aroma just arn’t there. Would not buy again.

Tap. Pours clear golden orange with a medium, fizzy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is tropical fruity esters, biscuit malt, pine, resin, and citrus hops. Flavor is medium hops and heavy bitterness, supporting malt and fruity esters with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Aroma: citrus fruit and yeast, somewhat floral, light malts and faint sweetness. Pours a light golden color, some haze, white head with good retention and lots of lacing. Crisp hop flavor, resin and fruit, light grain character, grassy, light sweetness. Light body and medium carbonation. Nice.

Poured from a pint sized can. The hops are muted, maybe due to oxidization. Cardboard hop character. Malty, bready malts. I would like to see a stronger hop profile. Meh.

Impressed by this brew. A very good APA (With Australian Hops). Smells great, cloudy appearance, tastes like a better than typical APA. Love it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(sample at Papsø’s; courtesy of steasy66) Pours a clear golden with white head. Good retention and lace. Some floating sediment in there. Aroma is fresh, grassy hops. Oily texture, medium body, medium carbonation with a bitter finish. Taste is somewhat bitter with a little compensating sweetness.
