4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 mikedR (361) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - APR 1, 2013
Nice session pale ale. Slight melon aroma. Good mouthfeel, with a unique combination in taste of hops and a wee bit of sweetness, the latter presumably from the galaxy hops. Even more wee bit of lingering bitterness. Would love to see an IPA version of this.

On tap, McNellie’s Tulsa. Dark gold/light copper with a thick white (?) head. Nothing remarkable here, but very drinkable with the usual Tallgrass quality. Bonus points for the art work on the can.

Solid Pale Ale here. Copper pour with thick off-white head. Subdued hoppy aroma, a bit of tropical fruit/peppery bitterness. Flavor is similar, but a little more tinny than I was hoping. Nice brew.

It wasn’t a bad brew in the first fulls sips. It was just too hoppy for me. I couldn’t even finish a pint... Might be a score for a Pale Ale fan though.

Not your typical pale ale. Good hops, but very sessionable at only 5.2% More of a light ipa than a pale, but the best of both

Can. Yellow pour with frothy white head. Smells of citrusy hops and malts. Has a decent slight hop flavor with a somewhat balanced finished. Not great but not bad either.

Tall boy can shared by my good friend dosbeerigos, you rock brotha! Nothing super special about this one but I dig tasty pale ale’s out of the can, and this one just that. Would love a few of these by the pool during the summer time.

Can. Looks amberish. Aroma of citrusy hops and some pale malts. Flavor the same with a nice blend of everything, especially the galaxy hops. Average texture. A good pale ale.

From the can. Pours a nice orange, some hazy and sticky whitish head. Nose is full and malty, toasty malt, some tropical mango in there. Fruity hops and clean. I like the hop blend. Not over the top. Bready malt richness makes this one different. Lacks caramel, which is good. Stiff bitterness and very clean. Outstanding APA.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2013 A very pale ale...packs a nice hop punch for a pale ale...similar to half acres Daisy Cutter in that it has large hop attributes but doesnt pull it off as well... rough around the edges yet a nice pale ale...must be galaxy hops I’m tasting ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
