Just like those classic video games we all grew up with, 8-Bit Pale Ale is spectacularly simple at first glance yet remarkably fun and complex when you get into it. Our Hop Rocket infuses the character of Australian grown Galaxy Hops into an American Pale Ale, giving a unique tropical, almost melon aroma in a classic American style.

Can: The aroma consists of caramel, aged citrus hops, and light fruit. It pours a hazy golden-orange with a small white head that quickly fades to a thin film. The flavor starts with a quick dose of caramel and light fruit. The finish has some aged citrus hops. It’s light bodied with light-moderate carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel.

The can is awesome. A cool take on nostalgic videogames. And the brew is a solid pale. The price of admission is a little iffy, but with enough quarters and determination you to can reach a mega high score, and put your name on the wall and be the envy at the local arcade! Only if they were still around...

A hazed amber body sits beneath a fading two inch fluffy smooth head leaving dimensional peninsulas of lace reaching beyond a thick ring with a frothy island

A somewhat pungent balance of tropical, citrus, and earthy grass characteristics with a subtle green melon influence and a kiss of malty sweetness on a brightly carbonated light plus body finishing with a drying, very lean residual shifting the focus a bit more towards the melon component

Refreshing and bright with the classic pale ale earthiness, light plus intensity, decent complexity for the style, well integrated flavor components

Can out at lake Quivera; poured hazy orange, some off white head in the glass. Nose of herbal, melon hops, fair amount of caramel malts. Pacific NW hop profile with earthy, herbal hops and some caramel malt balance. Fairly light bodied and not as potent as one would expect after reading the ingredient profile. Day drinking beer ok ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16oz can 6/24/14 (Jewel-Osco Mix A Six)-42° in Shaker-Pours a slightly hazy golden with a big white head. Aroma of hops, malt, and citrus. Taste of the same with more hops. This light bodied brew is well balanced and goes down quite smoothly.

16oz can from Lukas Liquors in Missouri. Best by 10/11/14. Shared with friends during Catan. Hazy golden orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves good thicker bits of lace. Toasty light peppery malt nose. Some light tropical light citrus hop, but less than expected. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp lighter carbonation. Light slick. More metallic flavor than expected and less hop, a little disappointing in that regard but still cool overall.

Can from Macadoodles, Pineville MO. Gold pour with a prominent creamy white head. Certainly an attractive beer. Bright lemon sherbet. A bit of sea salt. Dirt-covered grass roots. Light malt body, a bit toasty. Tropical citrus flavors. Dry bitter finish. LIght body, zippy mouthfeel. Overall, simple and elegant.
