4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very soft aroma. Green, floral, quiet, lots of rind. Herbal flavor, heavy on lavender and skins of tropical fruits; light, crisp honeyed-malt flavor and blessedly little else. Tight and bright mouthfeel; finishes cleanly, with lots of simple floral hops. Quite plain, and quite pure; really stellar.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can pour to stein. Slightly hazy honey pour, with a white head that fades fairly quickly to some decent soapy lacing. Aroma is light crystal malt, honey, floral and citrus hops. Taste is citrus on the front, moving towards a sweeter middle with more honey presence, with a lingering citrus and resiny bitterness that is not overpowering. One of my favorite pale ales I have had of late.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
16oz can. Pours a very hazy pale yellow color with a somewhat substantial head that dwindles and leaves some nice lacing on the glass as it goes down. First impression, wow! Medium bodied. Very soft malt presence quickly gives way to a burst of juicy tropical flavored hops. Muskmelon, mango, maybe a bit of orange and grapefruit. This is like drinking Juicy Fruit. Finish quickly subsides, with just enough bitterness to keep the palate clean. This stuff goes down quickly. Very nice without trying to melt your face off.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a slightly hazy honey color with a surprisingly creamy head 1-finger that lingers. Grapefruit hop aroma with moderate caramel and toasted malt presence. Good balance, but definitely for the hop minded people like me! Moderate bitterness throughout with mild sweetness up front that is not detectable in the finish. Medium to full body with moderate, but not harsh carbonation. This is a solid beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
16 oz. can. This was a cool find on my way back home from Milwaukee. It pours a hazy orange from the can with a thick, eggshell colored head. Aroma of bright, robust hops, focusing on citrus and pine notes. I get Hay and straw malt, as well as a some bread dough and crackers. I get floral and minty twinges. Flavor is smooth and very nice to drink. The hops are set back a bit. Not quite in your face like I expected using Galaxy hops. Medium bitterness, lots of nice pine and floral notes in the tongue. The malt manifests itself as fresh baked bread and crackers. I get lots of tropical fruit notes, pineapple, kiwi, some orange. The hops assert themselves more towards the finish. Mouthfeel features crisp carbonation, lively on the tongue. Finishes nice and bitter. This is a very nice pale ale that goes down very easily. Before I knew it, my glass was gone.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Yellow pour, white head. Caramel malt up front followed by some light tropical notes, light pine hops and some fruity esthers. This brewery is doing it right. Enjoyable beers all the way around.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a hazy golden color with a fizzy white head. The aroma is grainy and the flavor is a little bitter with a light fruity note and a sweet undertone.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
mildly hazy yellow pour with a white head. The can claims tropical hops and it is a bummer this didn’t deliver with that statement. Just another clean, malt forward, boring pale with a bit of bitterness and some tarry pine bitterness.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can-must have been fresh since this was the beer that was holding me up in my online order through a MN store. Pours very hazy orange with a nice fluffy sudsy soapy white head that lasted the whole time with some sparse lacing. nose is very hoppy-mostly floral flowery tropical notes with some mango notes as well. Very solid yet not mind blowing. Flavors are lite, much more lite than i was expecting-lots of citrus, lite pale malts, and some lite pine and mostly tropical notes, especially on the finish. palate is crisp and slightly over-carbonated yet not detracting from this beer. if this beer were a bit more punchy, i may have rated it a bit better however, a very solid pale and definatley seek out for those pale ale lovers. great session beer!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
[Can] Pours a slightly hazy gold with a sticky, two-finger head of eggshell white foam. The aroma is tropical fruit - papaya, mango, and pineapple, but with an herbal, sort of catnip like note to it. There’s also a little dank resiny note, which I’m guessing is the magnum coming through. The flavor is not terribly aggressive. The malt jumps in at the beginning with a nice dry crispness that accents the hops as they take over as the beer moves across the palate. The resiny character stands out on the finish, leaving a pot-like aftertaste. Nice smooth bitterness and the carbonation is just right.
