Just like those classic video games we all grew up with, 8-Bit Pale Ale is spectacularly simple at first glance yet remarkably fun and complex when you get into it. Our Hop Rocket infuses the character of Australian grown Galaxy Hops into an American Pale Ale, giving a unique tropical, almost melon aroma in a classic American style.

Nice golden color with a finger high head, has some subtle light citrus scents. Smooth bitter taste that finishes well. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy apricot colored pour, lasting think carbonation and light fresh oranges and hops. Flavor is light bitter oranges, a little biscuity and very light on the aftertaste. Solid and very flavorful pale ale. Iíll definitely pick this up again.

16 oz can. Pours a hazy, light golden color. Aroma of pine, grass, grain, citrus. Flavor is grass, pine, grain, caramel. Bitter hops up front that mellows in the finish with a touch of sweetness. A bitter and hoppy APA that has a nice sweet malt balance in the finish.

Pour out of 16 oz can is clear yellow-orange with nice white head, aroma brought notes of lots of lemon, lemongrass, hints of biscuit and bready notes, touch of slight spice, really nice and refreshing smelling. Taste is bready and lemony up front, some lemon pepper and spice notes, hints of biscuit, finishing fairly bitter with some slight dry notes as well. Nice, refreshing, tasty, reminds me of bitter brewer.

Meh, disappointed in a Tallgrass Iíve been looking forward to. Stick with their IPA and ESB.

16 oz. can courtesy of Tripplebrew, thanks. Pours hazy gold with white head into a lager glass. Spotty lace. Soft carbonation. Bread malt and citrus / grassy hop nose. Taste is subtle grassy hops with a moderate bitterness toward the finish. Overall impression is this is crisp, smooth pale ale. Basic and simple however, refreshing and super easy to drink. My 1st brew from the state of Kansas.

This Pale Ale is hoppy and light. The hoppiness is quite citrusy and herbaceous. Refreshing and smooth, this beer hits the tongue with notes of lemon and moves to an excellent mouthfeel and a semi-sweet bitterness in the succinct finish. I enjoyed this beer from a 16 ounce 8-bit graphic inspired can without food, so I canít say much for the visual of the beer itself, so I gave the beer a medium 3 out of 5 in the appearance category. All in all, this is a good beer that will appeal to IPA lovers and anyone wanting a little departure from the norm. I would likely buy this beer again.

Light hops, good taste when youíre wanting a lighter indian pale ale but still want a decent taste.

Poured into a pint glass. A good finger and half of tight head. Clear, golden colored ale. It smells a little like honey and musty hay. Not super appealing. The flavor starts slow and then builds up. Balanced bitter and malt at first, then the hops take over with a dull bitter taste at the end. Soft texture, low carbonation and medium body. Itís a tasty treat.
