Piney hops and light yeast in aroma. The flavor is grapefruit, citrus, an undertone of bready malts and a dry finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at The Flying Saucer in Little Rock. Pours a crystal clear, pale gold colored body with a finger-width, frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is lighter with some grainy pale malts, some grassy citrus, and a few florals. Flavor is better with a nice grassy crispness up front as well as some citruses before a light grainy pale malt comes in with some florals and a few tropical fruits. Finishes crisp and clean with a moderate, grassy bitterness alongside a pleasant citrus and some tropical fruits. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium-light body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a very clean, crisp, and easy drinking pale ale with a nice citrus and tropical fruit hop character. Pretty enjoyable.

Can from johns pizza. Pours orange with a thin white head. Slight pineapple note on the nose. Bigger citrus on the tongue along with some malty sweetness. Finishes clean. Solid example of style.

Can-must have been fresh since this was the beer that was holding me up in my online order through a MN store. Pours very hazy orange with a nice fluffy sudsy soapy white head that lasted the whole time with some sparse lacing. nose is very hoppy-mostly floral flowery tropical notes with some mango notes as well. Very solid yet not mind blowing. Flavors are lite, much more lite than i was expecting-lots of citrus, lite pale malts, and some lite pine and mostly tropical notes, especially on the finish. palate is crisp and slightly over-carbonated yet not detracting from this beer. if this beer were a bit more punchy, i may have rated it a bit better however, a very solid pale and definatley seek out for those pale ale lovers. great session beer!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JAN 2, 2013 16 oz can purchased at Royal in Kansas City, Missouri. 12 207 stamped on bottom of can. The pour is golden tangerine orange, hazed, with a two inch off white head. The head is lasting, eventually falls with pretty lacing. The aroma is tropical fruit, light resin, and a bit of toasted cracked malt. Fresh nose. The taste is the tropical fruit, sort of mango-pineapple, up front, turning a bit grassy resinous, but very gently, and then finishing with the soft clean cracker malt of the nose. The finish shows some light pine, mineral and is quite dry. The palate is light to medium bodied, fine carbonation, unfiltered mouth feel and the dry crisp finish. Really easy drinking beer, this will be great for the summer.

Pour is a bright hazy gold with a large white head. Aroma is a nice citrus hop with some sweet fruit. Flavor is a decent but low profile hop follow by a bigger malt presence. Finish is very dry and bitter. The first whif of the aroma is the best thing about this beer. Very tropical fruity.

Can. Looks amberish. Aroma of citrusy hops and some pale malts. Flavor the same with a nice blend of everything, especially the galaxy hops. Average texture. A good pale ale.

16 oz. can. Pours hazy gold with white head. Aroma has a somewhat old grapefruit/earthy smell, small malt backbone in the end. Flavor is much the same with an earthy bitter finish, light astringent. light-medium body with medium-high carbonation. Is ok but im not a huge fan.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
16 oz. can. This was a cool find on my way back home from Milwaukee. It pours a hazy orange from the can with a thick, eggshell colored head. Aroma of bright, robust hops, focusing on citrus and pine notes. I get Hay and straw malt, as well as a some bread dough and crackers. I get floral and minty twinges. Flavor is smooth and very nice to drink. The hops are set back a bit. Not quite in your face like I expected using Galaxy hops. Medium bitterness, lots of nice pine and floral notes in the tongue. The malt manifests itself as fresh baked bread and crackers. I get lots of tropical fruit notes, pineapple, kiwi, some orange. The hops assert themselves more towards the finish. Mouthfeel features crisp carbonation, lively on the tongue. Finishes nice and bitter. This is a very nice pale ale that goes down very easily. Before I knew it, my glass was gone.
