I have to admit, my primary reason for wanting to try this was the snazzy can. That being said, this was a pretty tasty brew - crisp, snappy hop profile with a subtle, toasty malt. Simple, but tasty. Thanks to theisti for the trade!

Perfect pour out of 16 oz can - deep golden color with a thick, creamy head. Hops are at the forefront if the flavors, but aren't overpowering. There is a nice crispness the the mouth feel, which paired with the relatively low ABV makes this beer very drinkable.

A-Bright Orange/Amber
A-Big Citrus nose
T-Malt is quickly subsided with citrus notes that move to bitterness. A nice snap at the end
P-medium mouthfeel and carbonation that balances the hops
O-Very drinkable Pale Ale with citrus and bitterness stealing the show at the end. I’ll try not to let the design of the can sway my judgement..very cool.

Aroma is a grapefruity citrus scent. Taste is a nice hoppy citrus, orange, grapefruit flavor. The malt is very prevalent also, nice caramel and grainy flavor. Overall a very balanced beer. One of my favorite pale ales.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20 tutal (10) - Hokah, Minnesota, USA - APR 9, 2013
Large head from the can, average bitterness with no distinct flavours, could not notice the "hop rocket" as the hops seemed to add bitterness but not aroma or flavour. Finishes clean with little aftertaste.
