COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
BUFFALO SWEAT
(ABV 5.0%, 20 IBU)

We love this beer here at the brewery, and think you will have one of those “I’ve never-tasted-a-beer-like-that” kind of moments when you try it!

What we really like about this beer is the smoothness that brewing with cream sugar brings to the palate. This smoothness balances out the copious quantities of roasted barley used in the brewing process to create a rich, complex, and delicious beer. If you have not been a stout drinker in the past, give this beer a try. It might just change your mind about how dark beers should taste. It tastes so rich, but is surprisingly easy to drink!

Can’t find the sweat? Don’t sweat it. Just ask for Buffalo Sweat at your local liquor store or your favorite tavern.

Deep brown-black pour with soft off-white head. Fresh roast malt, light vanilla creation and brown sugar sweetness. Flavor is light roast malt/coffee and lactose cream with a bitter chocolate finish. Clean and semi-rich. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

pours dark brown with a small tan head. This beer is creamy and nutty, very sweet and chocolatety, with a nice roasted and coffee tastes. The only thing lacking is there is not enough carbonation in this beer.

Starts sweet with very subtle roasted cereal, and leaves almost no after taste. Opaque black with a brown head that quickly fades away.

16oz can. Good coffee-chocolate aroma. Pours opaque black coffee brown, with sustaained with fluffy tan head. Flavor carries on the coffee chocolate, but with an earthiness to it as well. Medium to light body. Faint coffee finish, with a slight sweet note. Very smooth and drinkable. This is very useful in thet it gives you a classic stout profile, yet, is not particularly complex, heavy, or alcoholic - making it a highly drinkable beer.

One of my favorite beers. It is only available in a can in my area. I was pleasantly surprised to experience this on draft in Great Bend, KS. Sip this beer and mix it side to side in your mouth to truly experience the flavors in this frothy concoction.

Tall boy can poured into glass. Had a friend bring back some of this from KS, what a guy! Super creamy with an aroma full of chocolate and malt. Down right tasty in every sense of the phrase.

Appearance: Dark brown brew, appears surprisingly bubbly, and capped with a medium-sized, light khaki head.

Smell: Mild aroma altogether. Roasted malted barley with very thin notes of block chocolate, coffee hit with a little cream. Light hint of fruitiness. Not much happening here, I’m afraid.

Taste: Begins with a nice pop of chocolate, then, some coffee. Slight creaminess. Moderate sweetness throughout. Light molasses. Very little fruitiness showing a bit of prune. Low hop character, bitterness. Malty, mildly roasty finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation.

Overall: Fairly good. While light in the aromatics department, it was solid in flavor. A bit more carbonation than anticipated, not that I found that to be disagreeable.

Nutty expresso on the front, milk chocolate on the back-end. Just a touch too sweet after multiple drinks. Can. Smells subpar. Tastes pretty alright by comparison.

Can. Dark brown, very dark, with a light brown head. Prominent roast profile with a lower-key lactic sweetness that hits it just right for me. In other words, not TOO sweet, but a solid stout with sweet tendencies.... Whatever, I liked it. It was good. Not overly complex, but good. Creamy mouthfeel.
