3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Location: 16 oz can at Flying Saucer, 1/31/12
Aroma: The nose is fairly sweet with notes of chocolate, vanilla, roasted malts, and coffee
Appearance: The pour is a creamy dark brown color with a thick light brown head atop it
Flavor: The taste is fairly sweet and malty, chocolate and sweetened coffee, minimal bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it has a smooth and creamy mouthfeel, with a rather soft carbonation
I thought this was a pretty decent stout. It is a rather sweet version, but it works pretty well, and drinks nicely. I’d have this one again.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pint can, just came in to my local liqour store. Pours dark as a stout should with ruby hues on the edges. Light tan cream colored head with loose bubbles and a little lacing. Aromas of chocolate and coffee as you pour. Taste leaves a little to be desired. Watery of sorts with a sweet front that follows throughout, the backend brings a mild spiciness from hops and the heavy roasted malt chocolate flavors. Very thin mouthfeel overall. Not a bad beer, just not consistant with what I want from my stouts.

Thin tan head, short lived with some stringy spotty lace left behind. Black in appearence with faint ruby red edging. Nose of lightly sweet malts, caramel, malt balls and cocoa. Body is lightly medium, lil oily,, carbonation is seriously soft.Slick creamy chocolate, roast malt flavors. A tad sweet to me, lacto. lil nutty in the finish.Nice 5% Stout. Props to JZbassman for the can!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not much going on aroma wise. A slight hint of malt maybe? Pours opaque with a thick tan head. Light & drinkable with chocolate notes up front. A solid brew that is certainly sessionable.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap - small foamy head, dark brown color, roasty malt aroma and flvor, a little sweeter and smoother than an average stout - just not my favorite style of beer, but better than most in this category
