BUFFALO SWEAT
(ABV 5.0%, 20 IBU)

We love this beer here at the brewery, and think you will have one of those ďIíve never-tasted-a-beer-like-thatĒ kind of moments when you try it!

What we really like about this beer is the smoothness that brewing with cream sugar brings to the palate. This smoothness balances out the copious quantities of roasted barley used in the brewing process to create a rich, complex, and delicious beer. If you have not been a stout drinker in the past, give this beer a try. It might just change your mind about how dark beers should taste. It tastes so rich, but is surprisingly easy to drink!

Canít find the sweat? Donít sweat it. Just ask for Buffalo Sweat at your local liquor store or your favorite tavern.

Great beer from Manhattan, Kansas! What an unexpected surprise. Smooth, balanced, malty, more chocolate than coffee, and absolutely delicious. I could drink these all night.

Rerate... its really good. The true challenge... body can very ... If they can get it consistent... it may beat left handís milk stout. For now, it canít stand.

This is a solid sweet stout. Moderate roast, with some coffee and chocolate, and well done lacto quality. Very smooth palate.

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2013 16 oz. can shared at a recent group tasting and poured to a sampler with a very dark brown hue, fluffy, tan head foam, and nice cling to the curtainy lacing. The aroma was light roast with an ultra milk chocolate scent and creamy sweetness. The flavor was similar, with low hop bitterness, but thin texture, low carbonation, and light to medium body. Tasty, but the flavor disappointed in comparison to the exceptional nose. On tap the next time at the Cornerstone Pub in Baileyís Harbor, WI.. Presented an added touch of ruby highlighting to the black/brown color and same impressive appearance. With roastiness, a little burnt, with some day old coffee taste, creaminess to the mouthfeel, but somewhat watery texture. Same conclusion.

16oz can as a trade extra. Black in color with a massive, dense tan head that looks almost nitro-like. The aroma is dampened a bit by the big olí head it seems, but some roast and dark chocolate poke through. Very roasty and even ashy flavor with bittersweet dark chocolate and a hint of espresso. A bit thin on the mouthfeel with average carbonation level. The deScription says, "It might just change your mind about how dark beers should taste." Well, that sure didnít happen - it tasted like a normal sweet stout.

From a pounder can. sweet volatile and stouty aroma, but not like an impy stout. Very attractive black beer look, no head. Taste is not as bitter as expected and is quite laid back for a stout. Good smooth flavors almost tart at times but never quite gets there, nevertheless, it is a pleasant aspect of the beer. The palate morphs, it goes from a sizzle to nearly a flat in aabout 5 seconds in the mouth. Nice black beer drinken experience. Finish is almost roasty bitter but pulls back. Gets better as the session continues. Enjoyed this big can.
