3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Black Hills Beer Fest - Dark brown pour with a finger of creamy tan head. Aroma is roasty with light cocoa notes. Tastes sweet and smooth, it has the creamy milk stout kinda thing going on, but not too much lacto... More focus on the roast, espresso, chocolate, and light bitters. Good.

Draft at Waldo pizza. Nice dark brown color with a foamy brown head. Nice sweet aroma that reminds me of a frothy, mocha, coffee drink. Silky mouthfeel but a little thin. Flavor is nice but muted until the end. Nice but could be tweaked some.

Tap at stubs. Dark with some red highlights, no head but decent lacing. Nose is mostly smoke, with some wood, some toffee malt notes. Taste is meh...some light smoke on the end, some odd fruit in the middle, a bit of dark malt throughout. Much too watery. Not a great beer.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a dark brown color with a generous, frothy brown head. Aroma is dominanted by strong chocolate and coffee tones. The first taste reinforces what the aroma suggests, with the addition of toffee and slight caramel flavors. Finishes clean, which helps give it a very drinkable quality.

Watery syrup. Tastes like coca cola. Cream sugar indeed. Horrid. Iíll try this again someday for the utter fascination as to what they were thinking. Maybe Iíll discover I was wrong.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: DEC 31, 2010 16 oz can. Pours a nice deep brown nearly black with a creamy small tan head. Aroma is toasty and chocolatey as expected with some nice dark nutty toasty nuts. Flavor is actually really nice, deep toasty cocoa and some touches of coffee. Picks up some creamy almost chocolate milky. Type of flavors. Very smooth and creamy. Medium body and a soft carbonation. Maybe not the most. Complex stout but super smooth nd drinkable, I could drink this all night.

Thanks to blutt59 for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a dark brown color with a white head. The aroma is coffee, toffee and chocolate. A very nice smelling stout.
The flavor is coffee, chocolate, caramel and roasted malt. This beer is a malt bomb and all of the various malt flavors work very well together.
Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
