We love this beer here at the brewery, and think you will have one of those ďIíve never-tasted-a-beer-like-thatĒ kind of moments when you try it!

What we really like about this beer is the smoothness that brewing with cream sugar brings to the palate. This smoothness balances out the copious quantities of roasted barley used in the brewing process to create a rich, complex, and delicious beer. If you have not been a stout drinker in the past, give this beer a try. It might just change your mind about how dark beers should taste. It tastes so rich, but is surprisingly easy to drink!

Can. A dark brown beer, clear looking and topped by a small, beige head. Roasted nose with a little choclate and coffee. A bit one dimensional, but nice anyway. That goes for the flavor too, a bit one tracked, but pleasant. Roasted malts, some nuts and a coffee touch. Full-bodied, smooth and semi-dry. Lasting roasted finish. Itís not often Iím this pleased with a beer this one dimensional. 120623

A: The pour is a dark brown color with thick tan colored foam. Pretty standard appearance, here. S: The nose has a touch of burnt malt, with a very bready base aroma. There is a slight sweetness, which would make sense for the style. T: The flavor is almost identical to the nose. The burnt flavor is a bit less obvious with the breadiness coming through even more and just a touch of sweetness. M: The body is medium with a somewhat low level of carbonation, providing a smooth mouthfeel. D: Itís easy to drink, but I do not think Iíd really want to have this one again. That said, it gets bonus points for a very creative name.

500mL can, pours black with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out oats, cocoa and a little roast. Flavour brings out notes of mint chocolate, oats and a little roast. Not especially complex, with a medium sweet finish. Thin body for the style, with an almost tangy menthol finish. Meh.

Can from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours very dark brown with a tan foamy head. Smells like sweet mocha. Med body with creamy carb. Sweet it is. With a lot of dark burnt malt and chocolate. Touch of coffee. And itís fairly bitter with time. Finish is pleasantly gruchy. Nice drink.
