COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
BUFFALO SWEAT
(ABV 5.0%, 20 IBU)

We love this beer here at the brewery, and think you will have one of those ďIíve never-tasted-a-beer-like-thatĒ kind of moments when you try it!

What we really like about this beer is the smoothness that brewing with cream sugar brings to the palate. This smoothness balances out the copious quantities of roasted barley used in the brewing process to create a rich, complex, and delicious beer. If you have not been a stout drinker in the past, give this beer a try. It might just change your mind about how dark beers should taste. It tastes so rich, but is surprisingly easy to drink!

Canít find the sweat? Donít sweat it. Just ask for Buffalo Sweat at your local liquor store or your favorite tavern.

Pours a dark brown with small off-white head. Aroma is roasted malts, dusty. Taste is sweet roasted malts and a dry bitter finish. Palate is a little thin for the flavor. Overall itís not bad, but nothing Iíd crave.

Can. Pour is deep brown with a small khaki head. Slight roasted malt character, chocolate, and some sweet cream. Sweet flavors and slightly sugary. Dark chocolate, cream, a hint of gas station coffee (my fav). Medium body. Maybe a tad thin. Pretty solid.

Serving glass: Poured from can into Nonic Imperial Pint. Appearance: Ruby black with thin tan head and spotty lacing. Aroma: Sweet molasses, roasted malt and milk chocolate. Smells decadent and rich, especially at first. Taste: Nice semi-sweet mix of chocolate, molasses, roasted malt and licorice. Minimal bitterness - while the smooth, rounded malts are appreciated, a little hop balance or extra roasted bite could have helped. Palate: Low carbonation, smooth body that is fairly light. Too thin. Overall: A solid, malty and drinkable Sweet Stout. Good session beer overall, even if there is no "wow" factor. Probably would be better with a slightly bigger body and a touch more bitterness.

On tap - light brown look to it. Thin head and somewhat fizzy. Has a creamy chocolate taste but somewhat thin.

Jake65 hooked me up with a couple of these in a good trade.. Pours a standard dark black with a fairly long lasting light brown head.. spotty lacing and a decent cap. Nose shows a light roasty element that combines well with the milk sugars.. some chocolate notes show with warmth.. nothing mindblowing, but seems about right across the board for a sweet stout. Roasty malt and a light coffee element is moved forward and is well integrated by the lactose.. again the chocolate note is more as it warms up. Body is very smooth... almost like an oatmeal stout.. light carbonation accentuates the silky nature. Pretty tasty... I typically donít seek out milk stouts too often, but this is well done and I am happy I have another can! Thanks Jake for the great trade!!

Received in a trade -- Drank straight out of the can, didnít bring any glassware on vacation with me. This is one of the creamiest Stouts I have ever drank. Very pleasant.

Aroma is very roasted with notes of espresso/dark coffee and an underlying sweetness. Flavor is less pronounced, with notes of coffee, espresso, sugar and malt. Mouthfeel is thin but maintains some creamy component. Not a bad sweet stout overall, but nothing that really stands out.

Pours deep brown with minimal head. †††Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, and caramel. †Taste of toffee, caramel malt, with slight roastiness. †Thin palate. Boring.
