COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
BUFFALO SWEAT
(ABV 5.0%, 20 IBU)

We love this beer here at the brewery, and think you will have one of those ďIíve never-tasted-a-beer-like-thatĒ kind of moments when you try it!

What we really like about this beer is the smoothness that brewing with cream sugar brings to the palate. This smoothness balances out the copious quantities of roasted barley used in the brewing process to create a rich, complex, and delicious beer. If you have not been a stout drinker in the past, give this beer a try. It might just change your mind about how dark beers should taste. It tastes so rich, but is surprisingly easy to drink!

Canít find the sweat? Donít sweat it. Just ask for Buffalo Sweat at your local liquor store or your favorite tavern.

Can. Pours cola colored with large bubbly head that leaves in a hurry. Nose is chocolate, caramel. Taste adds some coffee. My only complaint is the watery mouthfeel.

Can into Duvel tulip A Almost black with two finger off white head. S Roasty, a bit of malty sweetness T Roasty, a bit sweet, just a hint sour at the back M Thin, could use a bit more carbonation O Overall a fine beer, for a 5% stout you canít ask for much more. I probably wouldnít buy it again, but its by no means bad.

A bit more coffee in the nose and taste than I care for, but not a bad beer in my opinion.

Can into a pint glass at a happy hour. The flaw with this is too watery - but itís still a good sweet stout.

Black pour with a light tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, cocoa, vanilla, and subtle coffee notes. Flavor is roasty malts upfront with notes of chocolate. Very smooth and easy to drink. Nice sweetness from the lactose. Tasty brew.

tap - pours dark with a khaki head that fades to white. Smoky coffee and chocolate. Bittersweet leaning towards sweet. Medium weight. Overall its nice, Iíd get it again.

On tap at the Flying Saucer pours black with light tan head. Aroma is roast malt and sweetness. Lighter mouthfeel for the style. Flavors are pretty much on par with the nose and is pretty one dimensional. An average beer.

Poured from 16oz can - A stout that shows promise, but not quite there. Thin, vapid, devoid of serious flavors, but not offensive. A "soft" stout that is easy to drink--as advertised--but certainly not unique. Enjoyed aroma, but all other aspects are mundane. 1st try - Tallgrass Brewing

UPDATED: NOV 1, 2015 To me, Buffalo Sweat doesnít sound like a very flattering name for a beer. It sure doesnít exactly SOUND irresistible, but donít judge a can by its unusual title. This brew is silky smooth and has a generous tan head. The taste is almost unreal: chocolaty, creamy, and rich with some touches of coffee (all the roastiness and little of the bitterness). I would and will have this stout again.

20 oz on tap. Black color, good adhesion. Decent head fades to slight collar. Smells a bit more like coffee than oatmeal. Disappointing overall. Taste is light and not full-bodied, contrasts with the appearance & aroma. Itís like they sort of gave up on it and threw hops at it. Nowhere near as good as Tallgrassí other beers (Oasis in particular). Pass.
