COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
BUFFALO SWEAT
(ABV 5.0%, 20 IBU)

We love this beer here at the brewery, and think you will have one of those ďIíve never-tasted-a-beer-like-thatĒ kind of moments when you try it!

What we really like about this beer is the smoothness that brewing with cream sugar brings to the palate. This smoothness balances out the copious quantities of roasted barley used in the brewing process to create a rich, complex, and delicious beer. If you have not been a stout drinker in the past, give this beer a try. It might just change your mind about how dark beers should taste. It tastes so rich, but is surprisingly easy to drink!

Canít find the sweat? Donít sweat it. Just ask for Buffalo Sweat at your local liquor store or your favorite tavern.

Pours very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma chocolate, coffee and pipe tobacco. Taste follows nose and for some reason it reminds me of johnnie walker black label. Pretty good but a little thin for my tastes.

Pours a dark brown, with tan head. Aroma of malt with a chocolate tinge. Taste is slightly sweet and malty, with notes of coffee and chocolate. Smooth and drinkable. A fairly decent stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2015 To me, Buffalo Sweat doesnít sound like a very flattering name for a beer. It sure doesnít exactly SOUND irresistible, but donít judge a can by its unusual title. This brew is silky smooth and has a generous tan head. The taste is almost unreal: chocolaty, creamy, and rich with some touches of coffee (all the roastiness and little of the bitterness). I would and will have this stout again.

Almost opaque dark brown with a tan head. Chocolate aroma. Taste is sweet malt and chocolate. Medium body.

Canned. Black pour, tan head faded quickly. Roasty malt nose. Rasty, slightly smoky, sweet chocolatey flavor. Moderately bitter finish. Mouthfeel is a bit thin. Nice flavor, well balanced, but nothing really stands out. A nice drinking stout.

On tap at Helenís JAD in KC, MO. Dark brown pour with a deep tan head. Aroma is sitting right in the middle of roasty chocolate and lactose sugary sweetness. Flavor and body are floating somewhere between a milk stout and Moose Drool brown, with light roasted malts, slight sweetness, and very little in the way of hop presence.

It pours medium brown with a thin, fizzy foam. Roasty, meaty, more unpleasant than pleasant aroma. Itís thin, fizzy mouthfeel really ruins this beer for me. The chocolatey, roasted barley flavor is pretty damn good but alas, it cannot salvage this quite forgetable example of a sweet stout.

16 oz can. Brown pour, thin tan head that quickly fades. Roasted coffee aroma & flavor as well. Thin mouthfeel, finish is a bit watery but does leave some of the coffee flavor.

Pours an opaque black with a medium sized tan head mostly lasting. Nose is of chocolate and molasses. Nice mouthfeel, the taste is of dark roasted malt with hints of coffee, chocolate and caramel. No hops detected. Very smooth, this stoutís tastes are not as pronounced as other stouts I have tried but is nonetheless a good tasting brew. Try it paired with a buffalo burger and raw onion.
