COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
BUFFALO SWEAT
(ABV 5.0%, 20 IBU)

We love this beer here at the brewery, and think you will have one of those “I’ve never-tasted-a-beer-like-that” kind of moments when you try it!

What we really like about this beer is the smoothness that brewing with cream sugar brings to the palate. This smoothness balances out the copious quantities of roasted barley used in the brewing process to create a rich, complex, and delicious beer. If you have not been a stout drinker in the past, give this beer a try. It might just change your mind about how dark beers should taste. It tastes so rich, but is surprisingly easy to drink!

Can’t find the sweat? Don’t sweat it. Just ask for Buffalo Sweat at your local liquor store or your favorite tavern.

tap - pours dark with a khaki head that fades to white. Smoky coffee and chocolate. Bittersweet leaning towards sweet. Medium weight. Overall its nice, I’d get it again.

Can into a pint glass at a happy hour. The flaw with this is too watery - but it’s still a good sweet stout.

A bit more coffee in the nose and taste than I care for, but not a bad beer in my opinion.

Black pour with a light tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, cocoa, vanilla, and subtle coffee notes. Flavor is roasty malts upfront with notes of chocolate. Very smooth and easy to drink. Nice sweetness from the lactose. Tasty brew.

Poured from 16oz can - A stout that shows promise, but not quite there. Thin, vapid, devoid of serious flavors, but not offensive. A "soft" stout that is easy to drink--as advertised--but certainly not unique. Enjoyed aroma, but all other aspects are mundane. 1st try - Tallgrass Brewing

From can thin head with a dark chocolate color. Nice aroma of malt and smoke with a very creamy smooth mouth feel.

On tap at the Flying Saucer pours black with light tan head. Aroma is roast malt and sweetness. Lighter mouthfeel for the style. Flavors are pretty much on par with the nose and is pretty one dimensional. An average beer.

Pours opaque black with a small tan head that dissipates into a ring that leaves no lacing. Aroma is kind of weak but consists of coffee and chocolate. Flavors of chocolate, coffee and caramel. Mouthfeel is a bit thin but finishes on a sweet milky note. Overall a pretty average sweet stout.

20 oz on tap. Black color, good adhesion. Decent head fades to slight collar. Smells a bit more like coffee than oatmeal. Disappointing overall. Taste is light and not full-bodied, contrasts with the appearance & aroma. It’s like they sort of gave up on it and threw hops at it. Nowhere near as good as Tallgrass’ other beers (Oasis in particular). Pass.

Deep red-brown, thin head. Smokey, mineral, sweet caramel aroma. Very sweet stout, almost unexpected Medium body with fine carbonation.
