3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Whiteman AFB. I guess itís pretty hard to collect a lot of sweat from buffalo - I mean, the ideaís just crazy. I bet thereís a buffalo mafia that maintains a buffalo sweat shop just so they can meet supply and demand. Iíll tell you something else, if I were a buffalo, Iíd charge double for this stuff and buy a really nice car.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
16 oz. can from Party Time Liquor in Spearfish. Appearance: 2 fingers brown head that does not last, dark brown color, clear. Aroma: roast, milk chocolate, light oatmeal and biscuits, light floral. Palate: full body, average carbonation, creamy texture, light bitter finish. Taste: sweet milk chocolate, with light oatmeal sweet malt, and into a light coffee bitterness that finalizes into a solid bitterness. Overall, very smooth, like the light alcohol for the style, very drinkable, very fine beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A deep brown color with a foamy tan head and lacing. The aroma is sweet malt and coffee, and the flavor has sweet malt up front with the coffee and bolder malt taking over in the middle. It has a light-medium body and a smooth aftertaste.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Purchased from City Cellars in Cincinnati, Ohio - Well, this one is basically bison chocolate and malty madness... itís a goode beer, a fine sweet stout, but not worth the price I paid (8.99) I paid for the four can pack.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours almost black with a smooth, medium, off white head. The aroma contains roasted malts, chocolate, and a little bit of coffee. The taste does lean towards the sweetness. Heavier chocolate, lighter in vanilla and coffee, white still quite roasted. Aftertaste is more bitter and is chocolate and mild coffee. Light in body, creamy in texture, with carbonation being very soft. There isnít any real negative with this one, although Iíd consider this a rather generic offering.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma is bitter, roasty, dark/bittersweet chocolate. Pretty malty, a little creamy.
Starts off extremely light, but does taste like a stout. Creamy and smooth. Malty, just a little bitter, chocolate, oats.
A very light stout.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can. Pour is deep brown with a small khaki head. Slight roasted malt character, chocolate, and some sweet cream. Sweet flavors and slightly sugary. Dark chocolate, cream, a hint of gas station coffee (my fav). Medium body. Maybe a tad thin. Pretty solid.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Serving glass: Poured from can into Nonic Imperial Pint.
Appearance: Ruby black with thin tan head and spotty lacing.
Aroma: Sweet molasses, roasted malt and milk chocolate. Smells decadent and rich, especially at first.
Taste: Nice semi-sweet mix of chocolate, molasses, roasted malt and licorice. Minimal bitterness - while the smooth, rounded malts are appreciated, a little hop balance or extra roasted bite could have helped.
Palate: Low carbonation, smooth body that is fairly light. Too thin.
Overall: A solid, malty and drinkable Sweet Stout. Good session beer overall, even if there is no "wow" factor. Probably would be better with a slightly bigger body and a touch more bitterness.
