COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
BUFFALO SWEAT
(ABV 5.0%, 20 IBU)

We love this beer here at the brewery, and think you will have one of those ďIíve never-tasted-a-beer-like-thatĒ kind of moments when you try it!

What we really like about this beer is the smoothness that brewing with cream sugar brings to the palate. This smoothness balances out the copious quantities of roasted barley used in the brewing process to create a rich, complex, and delicious beer. If you have not been a stout drinker in the past, give this beer a try. It might just change your mind about how dark beers should taste. It tastes so rich, but is surprisingly easy to drink!

Canít find the sweat? Donít sweat it. Just ask for Buffalo Sweat at your local liquor store or your favorite tavern.

A deep brown color with a foamy tan head and lacing. The aroma is sweet malt and coffee, and the flavor has sweet malt up front with the coffee and bolder malt taking over in the middle. It has a light-medium body and a smooth aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma is bitter, roasty, dark/bittersweet chocolate. Pretty malty, a little creamy. Starts off extremely light, but does taste like a stout. Creamy and smooth. Malty, just a little bitter, chocolate, oats. A very light stout.

1 pint can from Beervana. Pours a deep dark brown color with a big beige head that diminishes quickly and leaves no lacing. Aroma is strongly malty, roasted with lactic touches. Notes of milk, milk chocolate, cocoa powder, lactose, milk cream. Not bad at all. Taste is fairly sweet with really moderate roastiness. Milk is the most obvious flavor, which combines with chocolate and roasted sugars. Zero bitterness or hop presence. Aftertaste of cocoa powder is short lived. Reminds me of Kinder Surprise. Low carbonation, feels thick in the mouthfeel. Fairly smooth but overly sweet. It feels pretty "macro" for a Microbrewery. Drinkable.

Pours very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma chocolate, coffee and pipe tobacco. Taste follows nose and for some reason it reminds me of johnnie walker black label. Pretty good but a little thin for my tastes.

Pint can to a tulip. The beer pours a super dark brown with a thick tan head that leaves little lacing. Right off the bad I can smell sweet cream, oats, and cocoa. This beer is very fragrant and smells awesome. Taste is creamy chocolate and cocoa up front. It picks up roasted coffee flavors as well as roasted barley and oats. Mouthfeel is somewhat thin but it fits this beer well. It remains very creamy and the flavors linger in your mouth a while. Very nice.

Can. Pour is deep brown with a small khaki head. Slight roasted malt character, chocolate, and some sweet cream. Sweet flavors and slightly sugary. Dark chocolate, cream, a hint of gas station coffee (my fav). Medium body. Maybe a tad thin. Pretty solid.

Serving glass: Poured from can into Nonic Imperial Pint. Appearance: Ruby black with thin tan head and spotty lacing. Aroma: Sweet molasses, roasted malt and milk chocolate. Smells decadent and rich, especially at first. Taste: Nice semi-sweet mix of chocolate, molasses, roasted malt and licorice. Minimal bitterness - while the smooth, rounded malts are appreciated, a little hop balance or extra roasted bite could have helped. Palate: Low carbonation, smooth body that is fairly light. Too thin. Overall: A solid, malty and drinkable Sweet Stout. Good session beer overall, even if there is no "wow" factor. Probably would be better with a slightly bigger body and a touch more bitterness.

Iím just going to state this right up frontónot my style of beer. I didnít care much for this but that has nothing to do with Tallgrass per se.
