COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
BUFFALO SWEAT
(ABV 5.0%, 20 IBU)

We love this beer here at the brewery, and think you will have one of those “I’ve never-tasted-a-beer-like-that” kind of moments when you try it!

What we really like about this beer is the smoothness that brewing with cream sugar brings to the palate. This smoothness balances out the copious quantities of roasted barley used in the brewing process to create a rich, complex, and delicious beer. If you have not been a stout drinker in the past, give this beer a try. It might just change your mind about how dark beers should taste. It tastes so rich, but is surprisingly easy to drink!

Can’t find the sweat? Don’t sweat it. Just ask for Buffalo Sweat at your local liquor store or your favorite tavern.

Dark dark brown with creamy tan head. Smells of oat, chocolate and cream. Taste is craemy chocolate and oatmeal. Roasty and smoked as well. Body is light. For a 5% stout, what you see is what you get. Nice beer, would be great if the body kicked up and maybe a bit more in the abv.

Pint can to a tulip. The beer pours a super dark brown with a thick tan head that leaves little lacing. Right off the bad I can smell sweet cream, oats, and cocoa. This beer is very fragrant and smells awesome. Taste is creamy chocolate and cocoa up front. It picks up roasted coffee flavors as well as roasted barley and oats. Mouthfeel is somewhat thin but it fits this beer well. It remains very creamy and the flavors linger in your mouth a while. Very nice.

Had a sample of this. Aroma: roasted malts, chocolate, maybe some roasted nuts. Taste was the same, but a sweetness comes into it. Good balance. A good beer.

From can. Dark brown, almost black. Thin, tan head. Boozy nose withvsome toasted malt. Typical stout, though the cream negates a lot of the smokiness on the back end. Not bad.

Mahogony trimmed black body beneath a fading 1.5" light khaki head leaving flat dense shallow lace all around

Aroma of creamy lactic blending caramel notes and pleasant chocolate cake with a controlled dark chocolate-coffee influence introducing subtle bitter nuance on a light-medium, mildly carbonated body finishing with hints of dark fruit, and a touch of vanilla, smooth chocolate on the dark side of sweet rounding out, solid session

16oz can at 45º into 16.5oz Stölze Berlin

Pours dark mahogany with a thick tan head. Aroma is coffee and oats. Taste is nice and full but dissipates quickly. There butting on the backend...it’s just gone.

Not an overly impressive stout, but solid. Pours black with almost no head to speak off. It smells of roasted malts and some chocolate malts, the beer is fairly roasted with some chocolate and lactose sweetness, the beer has good consistency

From 16 oz. can to tulip. Pours a medium brown with moderate head. Sweet and funky on the nose. Not really pleasant in the aroma, taste or finish. Would not purchase. Pass.

Pours very dark red with an ivory head. The nose is mostly chocolate a touch of coffee, as you would expect. Tastewise, chocolate dominates, with a nice sweet background that fills out the body and makes this a very easy beer to drink. Very nice.
