COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
BUFFALO SWEAT
(ABV 5.0%, 20 IBU)

We love this beer here at the brewery, and think you will have one of those “I’ve never-tasted-a-beer-like-that” kind of moments when you try it!

What we really like about this beer is the smoothness that brewing with cream sugar brings to the palate. This smoothness balances out the copious quantities of roasted barley used in the brewing process to create a rich, complex, and delicious beer. If you have not been a stout drinker in the past, give this beer a try. It might just change your mind about how dark beers should taste. It tastes so rich, but is surprisingly easy to drink!

Can’t find the sweat? Don’t sweat it. Just ask for Buffalo Sweat at your local liquor store or your favorite tavern.

pours dark brown with a small tan head. This beer is creamy and nutty, very sweet and chocolatety, with a nice roasted and coffee tastes. The only thing lacking is there is not enough carbonation in this beer.

16oz can. Good coffee-chocolate aroma. Pours opaque black coffee brown, with sustaained with fluffy tan head. Flavor carries on the coffee chocolate, but with an earthiness to it as well. Medium to light body. Faint coffee finish, with a slight sweet note. Very smooth and drinkable. This is very useful in thet it gives you a classic stout profile, yet, is not particularly complex, heavy, or alcoholic - making it a highly drinkable beer.

can to glass. Aroma has roasty notes as well as chocolate and coffee. Brown pour with large tan head. Taste has a lot of sweetness. Similar to milk chocolate. Nice and smooth. A pretty enjoyable stout. Very drinkable. Not my favorite, but I can drink a lot of these.

Darkish brown, very close to black in appearance. The aroma is robust, with caramel malt along with light herbal hops and a hint of coffee. As I sip, I get more coffee aroma, and some more o. The taste is slightly savory, no sourness, and only a little bitter. Palate is average. Overall, I’m impressed by this beer, probably my favorite from Tallgrass; adhering well to the standard of sweet stouts, but not a stereotypical one. Definitely try it out if you get a chance.

Oily black with thin, brown, quickly dissipating head. Aroma....I must be stuffed up - can't really smell anything. Tastes like dark rum and cream soda. Super creamy right up front and it stays all the way through the finish.

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2013 A beautiful beer when freshly poured. It has a rich, deep tan head, with an ebony color. The aroma was very light with a roasted, chocolaty quality. Full mouth feel and a light creamy texture and taste. Another great one by Tallgrass.

16 oz can complements of soonerchamps. Inky black pour with thin khaki head. Sweet nose of creamy lactose sugar, butterscotch and vanilla. Lighter on the mouthfeel that I would have expected, but really tasty. Sweet flavor upfront, a bit weak in the middle, with a nice dark chocolate & vanilla finish. Totally drinkable! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
