COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
BUFFALO SWEAT
(ABV 5.0%, 20 IBU)

We love this beer here at the brewery, and think you will have one of those ďIíve never-tasted-a-beer-like-thatĒ kind of moments when you try it!

What we really like about this beer is the smoothness that brewing with cream sugar brings to the palate. This smoothness balances out the copious quantities of roasted barley used in the brewing process to create a rich, complex, and delicious beer. If you have not been a stout drinker in the past, give this beer a try. It might just change your mind about how dark beers should taste. It tastes so rich, but is surprisingly easy to drink!

Canít find the sweat? Donít sweat it. Just ask for Buffalo Sweat at your local liquor store or your favorite tavern.

Can. Dark brown, very dark, with a light brown head. Prominent roast profile with a lower-key lactic sweetness that hits it just right for me. In other words, not TOO sweet, but a solid stout with sweet tendencies.... Whatever, I liked it. It was good. Not overly complex, but good. Creamy mouthfeel.

16 oz. can from Party Time Liquor in Spearfish. Appearance: 2 fingers brown head that does not last, dark brown color, clear. Aroma: roast, milk chocolate, light oatmeal and biscuits, light floral. Palate: full body, average carbonation, creamy texture, light bitter finish. Taste: sweet milk chocolate, with light oatmeal sweet malt, and into a light coffee bitterness that finalizes into a solid bitterness. Overall, very smooth, like the light alcohol for the style, very drinkable, very fine beer.

16oz can. Pours midnight black with a finger light tan head. The nose is light roast, mild coffee and chocolate. The taste is ashy cocoa, roasty malt, light molasses and light roast coffee. Nice semi-creamy mouthfeel. Best Iíve had from this brewery to date.

16oz can @ Johnís Grocery / Iowa City IA --- Opaque dark brown with a solid 1/2" head, mottled cover of lace. Taste is toasted chocolate malt that moves smoothly through the palate to light bittering to balance in a lingering finish. Unassuming, but quite tasty and easy drinking. Recommended.

On draft at Wobbly Bobby in Rapid City, SD. The bar is lowly lit, but the beer appears near black and opaque with approximately a half inch of beige head. Big chocolate aromas with some milk presence. Chocolate milk flavor throughout. Elegant and light on the palate, but by no means thin. A tad sweet, complimented by some bitter chocolaty tones in the finish. Really tasty.
