COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
BUFFALO SWEAT
(ABV 5.0%, 20 IBU)

We love this beer here at the brewery, and think you will have one of those ďIíve never-tasted-a-beer-like-thatĒ kind of moments when you try it!

What we really like about this beer is the smoothness that brewing with cream sugar brings to the palate. This smoothness balances out the copious quantities of roasted barley used in the brewing process to create a rich, complex, and delicious beer. If you have not been a stout drinker in the past, give this beer a try. It might just change your mind about how dark beers should taste. It tastes so rich, but is surprisingly easy to drink!

Canít find the sweat? Donít sweat it. Just ask for Buffalo Sweat at your local liquor store or your favorite tavern.

Bottle. Drinkable, but a tad too sweet. I was tired of it before I finished my first glass. This is the beer for soda drinkers or for those afraid of stouts.

In the bottle from KJís HyVee. Pours black as night with a small to medium dark beige head. Head is creamy in appearance. Mild roasted aroma. The flavor is thin. A thin roastedness and a thin tart finish. Iím not sure what they are trying to achieve with this beer, but it does not get there.

Pours deep brown with minimal head. †††Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, and caramel. †Taste of toffee, caramel malt, with slight roastiness. †Thin palate. Boring.

16 oz. can. Pours black with a thin-moderate tan head that s gone almost immediately and leaves no lace. Pleasant aroma of chocolate with notes of roast and tobacco. The flavor is predominantly wet cardboard with tobacco. There is some roasted malt and chocolate present as well, but not enough to save the day. Mild bitterness at the finish.

The name is catchy, and the beer is ok, but it is more of a cross between a brown and a stout. The hops are too far roasted and too much maltiness, not sweet but something that would compliment sweet. It would be a great base for adding to an ice cream. In fact the buffalo sweat cream stout version is almost a desert beer. The finish is very earthy but also with a bit much smoke. I would never drink more than one in a setting.

1 pint tall-can. Pitch black appearance. Somewhat tan head. Little lacing. Like ovaltine chocolate milk, not in a good way. Good texture, though. Manages to be drinkable. Mild sweet taste. Iím not sure, but something about this is awesome in a hilarious way. Maybe itís because itís a stout in a tall-boy can... I just havenít seen that before, nor ever thought I would. Excuse me. Still, one of the worser stouts Iíve had, though (though I havenít sampled many yet)

Tap - small foamy head, dark brown color, roasty malt aroma and flvor, a little sweeter and smoother than an average stout - just not my favorite style of beer, but better than most in this category

pint can to glass; recíd from emeinz in trade; Thx Eric! nice aroma - tobacco? and roasted things. nice dark pour -then the negative start; way too watery for a stout - not much carbonation or flavor - goes down easy but no reason to...

I wouldnít have bought this if I knew it had lactose; Iíll pay for it later. Deep black color, not much aroma - a little sweet coffee. Flavor is lightly roasty, coffee and dark malt. Underwhelming. It seems to be all about the texture, which is very smooth but has no reason for its existence. Too smooth, sweet and thick to stand up to the one-dimensional flavor. This would be much better with oatmeal instead of the lactose, and a bit more roasted barley.

Dark in the glass with a nice beige head. The beer starts smooth, roasted. The mainpart is slightly malty sweet, roasted, but a bit undeep - I miss the bitterness that would have really nice fitted to this brew. So with only 20 IBU it has nearly no aftertaste. Very sad. --> Nice beginning, fast ending. --> 10/12/4/10
