COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
BUFFALO SWEAT
(ABV 5.0%, 20 IBU)

We love this beer here at the brewery, and think you will have one of those “I’ve never-tasted-a-beer-like-that” kind of moments when you try it!

What we really like about this beer is the smoothness that brewing with cream sugar brings to the palate. This smoothness balances out the copious quantities of roasted barley used in the brewing process to create a rich, complex, and delicious beer. If you have not been a stout drinker in the past, give this beer a try. It might just change your mind about how dark beers should taste. It tastes so rich, but is surprisingly easy to drink!

Can’t find the sweat? Don’t sweat it. Just ask for Buffalo Sweat at your local liquor store or your favorite tavern.

Poured from a can. Nice head that leaves a little brown lace as it dissipates. Smells of roasted malt. Creamy taste, smooth without aftertaste. It is sweet, and I could probably drink a whole pack of these without feeling full.

Had this beer at the Cedar Rapids Farmers Market. It was a hot day, so I was a little wary trying such a dark beer. However I was rewarded with a very smooth creamy taste with a hint of chocolate. Very good, would purchase more.

Dark beer with a thin tan head. Big roasted grain nose. Great mouthfeel with nice creamy sensations that I associate with a good oatmeal stout. Brown sugar sweetness with roasted grains, chocolate, and some puffed wheat cereal notes. Nice flavorful low abv beer that I wish I could get locally.

16oz can. Very good overall. Deep brown color with a tan head. Almost like a thick, rich brown with the sweetness / smoothness. Rich.

Excellent dark, chocolatey taste and pretty creamy mouthfeel. Could stand to be a bit heavier in body and with less bitterness, but a good cream stout nonetheless! Good sweet flavor.

Aroma is dark malts and hints of cocoa. Pours dark black with a nice tan head. The taste is nice and sweet with hints of cocoa, an earthy taste from the oats, and moderate carbonation. A nice stout for the price.

Can thanks to portableparty! Dark black pour, decent amount of carbonation and nice chocolatey aroma. Flavor is nice roasted malt, peat, a little bitter chocolate and finishes light with a little bit of smoke. Very nice drinkable stout, and another decent Tallgrass brew.

Can courtesy blutt59. Dark brown color with a reddish tint as well. Aroma is lovely cocoa notes, roasted malts and nuts. Flavor is sweet, chocolate with heavy grains and light roast. Finishes lightly roasted and sweet.
