COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
BUFFALO SWEAT
(ABV 5.0%, 20 IBU)

We love this beer here at the brewery, and think you will have one of those “I’ve never-tasted-a-beer-like-that” kind of moments when you try it!

What we really like about this beer is the smoothness that brewing with cream sugar brings to the palate. This smoothness balances out the copious quantities of roasted barley used in the brewing process to create a rich, complex, and delicious beer. If you have not been a stout drinker in the past, give this beer a try. It might just change your mind about how dark beers should taste. It tastes so rich, but is surprisingly easy to drink!

Can’t find the sweat? Don’t sweat it. Just ask for Buffalo Sweat at your local liquor store or your favorite tavern.

(can) Pours a dark brownish black with a very scant tan head. Aroma has coconut, roasted malt, chocolate, and cookie dough. Basically smells like a macaroon. Flavor has plenty of dark chocolate, roasted malt, and toasted nuts and coconut. Long and lingering sweet lightly roasted finish. Mouthfeel is regrettably thin and the carbonation is somewhat high which detracts a bit from the experience. Overall a simple, yet well executed beer that would serve as a great session beer.

16oz can. Rating #86. Black pour with a light tan head. Mild, but very enjoyable roast and a sweet dark fruitiness that makes this a joy to smell. Chocolate roast right up front in the taste, light bitterness and a nice smooth mouthfeel. Good stuff. (1509)

Can. Very elegant porter-like stout. Notes of coffee beans, toffee and milk chocolate. Not the most aggressive stout. The dryness in the aftertaste is quite heavy though. Well balnced and refreshing.

A black pour with ruby highlights and a creamy tan head. It has a roasted aroma with notes of peanut butter and milk chocolate. The medium body has a slick texture with average carbonation. It has a sweet taste that fades a little with the roasted finish.

Can. Pours a dark brown with a tan head. Nice aroma of chocolate, nutty malts, and ale esters. Almost candy bar like. Lighter side of medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavor of chocolate, mild roast, and nutty malts with a balancing bitterness. This comes across like a nut brown ale and stout blend. Smooth finish. This is a very drinkable session beer. Not bad, perhaps a tad under rated if you ask me

Pours deep brown with a medium mocha head. Aroma has chocolate, nuts, and a bit of roastiness. Flavor follows suit...slightly less chocolate and more roasty/nutty...adds a hint of coffee. Medium creamy mouthfeel and the finish is roasty and dry.
